Thank you or the wonderful collection of intriguing facts and images. I love it when our people {Spell8 members & guests} get creative.
Blessed be.

@christina4 / Wow, C4!
How big is your new treasure, guess I always thought of coral as pink but maybe they die it to promote it. It’s like a small obelisk. very pretty. Garnet

I’m pretty sure I can add this to my list of Eclectic Practices, especially in the summer. I do have a piece of coral from the Caribbean (it was a gift from a cruise) & many different types of shells on my altar, shelves, and in my garden. I tried living in a landlocked state and it drove me nuts that I couldn’t just go to the water when something was wrong or just to go… to listen to the water on the beach or watch the sun. I ultimately lasted less than 2 years before I moved back to the coast.

I think because the ocean is largely undiscovered, mermaids and sirens can’t be discounted as impossible or any other sprite/fairy of the seas. There is still so much to be found and learned from the vastness of the water on Earth and I definitely use the ocean for cleansing myself, my energy, crystals, jewelry, releasing, and processing emotions.

Hey you! I’ve been busy lately. That doesn’t change who I am  but i found a link for coral.

Coral Metaphysical Properties:

It is commonly known to remedy spasms of intestines, sleeplessness, and bladder stones. Coral can reduce stress and fears and combats foolishness, nervousness, fear, depression, panic and nightmares. Coral is used to attract success and wealth and strengthens foresight.

@christina4 i might need to get some coral! They are very cool creatures alive! If another coral gets too close to an existing coral, they “vomit“ up their guts and digest their unwanted neighbor. It’s wild!

“Wild” is definitely a good way to put it- wow, coral are hardcore :joy:

Learned something new today- thank you, @AileyGrey! Although… I don’t know if it is something I wanted to know  :coral:

@BryWisteria glad to be of service with a disturbing random fact about the world around us! There is an episode of Blue Planet (coral seas) where you can learn allllllll about it!

I learn so much from you, @AileyGrey- things I never even knew where out there to be learned! :+1:

With full respect, I think I will avoid that episode of Blue Planet  :coral:

Buuuut if you ever make a channel or teaching show of your own, I would watch that! You are full of fun, wild, and exciting facts :grinning:

Blessed be and lots of love!

You are so sweet! You never know, I may just pop a channel on one day! When you teach littles, you never know what’s going to come up… so it’s best to beat them to theme punches with gross and shock factor! My classroom li rest is so fun… I have books on princesses and drmragons and talking frogs (like most first grade classrooms would) and also snot, flatulence, and everyone’s favorite topic: poop. It’s a big wide world out there! I love to learn new things!

I can practically hear the squeals of horrified delight every time you out-gross the group with a funny new topic or theme :joy::+1: I have no doubt you are everyone’s favorite teacher there, @AileyGrey! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

If you ever do, please share it here! I would love to check it out- there’s nothing like having a laugh and learning something new  :books:

It’s not pink because there are over 22 different types of coral. When someone thinks of coral, they automatically think of the pink type. There’s a neon green and hot pink coral thats called brain coral.

My coral pieces are white or an off white almost beige… I’m sure it comes in an array of colors. I remember when I got it being like… wait… this isn’t from around here… I had so many questions about how it got to me & why but I have always kept it. It reminds me of the last “family” vacation we went on to the Caribbean on a 7 day cruise.

Toot away, my friend- that’s a huge accomplishment! Congrats to Ailey, Teacher of the Year!
