Discoveries and Exploring

As they improve their testing they will update to more precise areas. Mine has changed a couple of times right down to cities.

Francisco, they are accurate. I have family who also took the test, and their results showed our DNA related at the distance they are related to me. The ethnic areas can change as their databases get larger. I would not be suprised by any of what I see here. Think of the history of the areas and how they are related. The percentages are the most interesting feature. You may only have a couple of ancestors from any one area if the percentages are low! I also took the DNA test from the National Geographic study on human migration. There I found out I have 1.3% Neandertal DNA. The National Geographic study is closed now. Scientists are dealing with the data now. They have over a million in their database. And, yes, my data from both agreed.

I had my father and daughter do them and they are right on the money. So I would say ours came back pretty accurate also.
