I’d probably be that chicken with the funky hair. Like this one:

It’s a redhead too!

She’s got Hair Band hair!

I don’t know enough about chickens to know that they purr! How interesting!

Adorable little dinosaur

So cute! But I’m not sure if it’s purring or snoring. I kinda sound like that at night when I really get going.

I let Albus listen to the video. Then I purred and asked him if he purrs. He got excited enough to hop around a bit. Usually, he snuggles in his grit cup and floofs enough to make a vibrating sound with beak against plastic.

Hello lovelies!

It’s that magickal time of the week - time for another round of Fun Friday!

This Friday, however, is a very special one. It’s National Appreciate a Dragon Day! And we’re here to celebrate!

(image AI generated)

Dragons symbolize many things. They breathe fire, have steely hard scales, and they can fly! They can symbolize massive strength, wisdom and knowledge, and guardians of treasure. It’s time to pay homage to these magickal creatures.

Let’s go! :dragon_blue: :dragon:

  1. Who is your favorite dragon?

  2. Would you rather have a dragon in the back yard or a winged horse?

  3. Would you rather have a dragon’s tail or dragon’s wings?

  4. Was Smaug just misunderstood?

  5. If you came across a dragon while out on a hike, what would you do or say?

Have fun!

I just posted him on another thread, but we love all dragons at our house. I just put our dragon fountain up in my library.

  • Who is your favorite dragon?
The Luck Dragon! With Dragonheart a close second.

  • Would you rather have a dragon in the back yard or a winged horse?
We have a small backyard so… a mini dragon?

  • Would you rather have a dragon’s tail or dragon’s wings?
    Wings. Definitely wings.

  • Was Smaug just misunderstood?
He was a jerk. Some dragons are just not defendable.

  • If you came across a dragon while out on a hike, what would you do or say?
I did that. I fell in love. It had a photo album with it. It started with its baby pictures and ended 500 years later. It gave me a copy of the pictures (AI)

Well here we go.

The one in BBC Merlin, and I can’t remember his name. Wise old beauty.

Ooh ooh, a winged horse

 Confused, would like to keep both attached to the dragon

Maybe, maybe not, I’m not going to challenge him.

Ok I’d like to think I’d say something cool but in reality, I’d run.

I never saw this, but that is one spectacular dragon!

oops, my mistake for a poorly-worded question! I meant you personally growing one or the other - not taking them from a poor dragon (though it might be tough getting either one!).

Trust me to read it wrong

Ok growing one for me, I think I’d be lethal with either, but wings would be great to get through rush hour traffic right?!

I have to say Ruth, the White Dragon from the Pern series of books.

Although Elliot from Pete’s Dragon comes in at a close second. I always wanted an invisible dragon friend as a kid.

Dragon. Hey hoard stuff. Usually gold. As far as I know, horses don’t hoard anything useful.

Wings! Knowing me I’d be closing my tail in the door all the time and tripping over it.

I dunno. From what I know, he just moved into someone’s home. While they were still there! Rude!

I’d like to think I’d ask for it to fly me somewhere. But I’d probably panic and run.

In the Pern books, they have fire lizards, which are really just mini-dragons. They flame and everything!

I can see you as a Valkyrie, on her winged horse! Good choice!
