Fun Friday

Thanks for the warm welcome back, I’ve missed y’all too! My soul needed to grow some more apparently, and what can one do but hold on and pray lol. Thanks to my sister from another mister @tracyS and my brother from another mother @dan3 for reaching out while I was offline, it really meant a lot :people_hugging:

Oh my. That’s not good. Unless it was for fun things, but I have rarely stayed up that long for something fun.

I have done it many times. It usually starts out with just not feeling tired enough to sleep and I get busy and a new sun comes up - requiring the day to start again. I was probably trained into it - my first career I was often up for days at a time.

  1. What’s your someday plan? Someday, I’m going to… - Travel :luggage: Around Europe!
  2. What did you learn last week? - I learned that I can finally be myself without being yelled at, ridiculed, cursed at, you get my drift.. (HERE IN THE COVEN!)
  3. How is your magickal world spinning at the moment? - My Magickal World is spinning so Magickally at the moment for lack of a better word! I just started practicing in January! I cast a few Spells a month, and for the most part, they work. I don’t get every single intention on my list, but I get some of them, which makes me really proud of myself.
  4. Did you have a favourite board game when you were younger? - I crushed at Monopoly! I was an Accountant before I was a Spiritual Healer! I was an Accountant for 12 years and a darn good one at that. (Sorry don’t mean to toot my own horn, my family just thinks I’m a failure now and a disgrace to society lol)
  5. What do you think your spirit animal is and why? - My Spirit Animal is the Hawk. I know this to be true because there are always Hawks circling when Zeus and I are in the car. They also stop by and fly above the apartment building at least three times a day.
6.By the end of the “summer”, I want… - To have a Successful Spiritual Healing Business! I still haven’t gotten any clients yet! It’s been 10 months now! Where are my Clients? I’m waiting for you :hugs::smiling_face_with_three_hearts::heart_eyes::heart_exclamation::beating_heart::hamsa::double_exclamation_mark:
7.If you could buy an experience, what would you do? - All paid trip to Portugal, Italy, and Greece!
8.Marmite - yay or nay? - I have no idea what this is or means..lol
9.Do you have any plans for the full moon or is it just another day in your Craft? - YES! I am actually going to do my Self-Dedication Ritual on the Full Moon :full_moon: and I’m going to cast a Full Moon Spell too. I am a Capricorn, so I think it’s a perfect time to do my Self-Dedication Ritual.
10.Finish the story: I’m walking through the forest and I see some lights. As I cautiously make my way towards them, I see a huge castle, iridescent and gleaming in the moonlight. The lights are floating lanterns, illuminating the path towards the castle, and I think to myself… - WOW HOW BEAUTIFUL

Yeah, I’ve been reading a story and look up and it’s after midnight. LOL! It sneaks up on you!

Hey, you’re happy. If they’re so happy with being an accountant, let them go to an accounting school, and they can do it!

@Amethyst Girllll you made me actually laugh out loud! Thank you for that! You make a great point! Touché!

You’re welcome! Just keep telling yourself that, or maybe tell them to their face. I’m sure that would amuse you even more!

1.What’s your someday plan? Someday, I’m going to…
Be pain-free. Until then, I work on pain management and staying light and positive, because what choice do I have?

2.What did you learn last week?
More about Lenormand. It’s fascinating!

3.How is your magickal world spinning at the moment?
Beautifully and quickly!

4.Did you have a favourite board game when you were younger?
Monopoly! I don’t think I ever won, but I liked all the little pieces.

5.What do you think your spirit animal is and why?
I don’t have one. When I step outside, I talk to everything out there, critters, plants, bugs…everyone! I feel close to Gaia as the Earth and all the creatures roaming it.

6.By the end of the “summer”, I want…
To have run off for a little adventure!

7.If you could buy an experience, what would you do? Travel the world and take as much time as needed.

8.Marmite - yay or nay?
I’ve never tasted it, so I can’t say. For something with such a friendly name, it seems a lot of people are hostile to it!

9.Do you have any plans for the full moon or is it just another day in your Craft?
Will be watching it from the rooftop of an old hotel downtown. Can’t wait!

10.Finish the story: I’m walking through the forest and I see some lights. As I cautiously make my way towards them, I see a huge castle, iridescent and gleaming in the moonlight. The lights are floating lanterns, illuminating the path towards the castle, and I think to myself:
Ooo! Can’t wait to get there!

Good morning/afternnon/evening all!

You have made it… you survived the mundane, the minutia and the madness, and you have arrived…it’s Friday! You know what to do… get your weekend groove going :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

  1. Tell us about 3 of your favourite ingredients to use in spells and rituals…or any hacks you’ve discovered!
  2. What is your favourite kind of pie (savoury or sweet)?
  3. If tou could try out any job temporarily, what would it be?
  4. What are you exploring at the moment, magickally? Is that even a word?
  5. What are you most grateful for at the moment?

Here are my answers:
1.Sage because I smell it and it feels like home (not the home I grew up in, my soul home), Crystal Quartz for it’s versatility, and I’m still obsessed with the Dragon’s Fire essential oil.
2.Probably minced beef and onion for savoury, apple for sweet - can’t beat the classics!
3.Pilot, no question. These are humans that help us fly, they rock. Being able to fly a helicopter would be awesome.
4.I’ve been communing with my crystals a lot lately, no particular reason, I’ve just been sitting with them and holding them for comfort.
5.My daughter, with or without her challenges she is amazing. And the opportunity to do better today than I did yesterday.

Have a fab weekend lovelies!

Woohooo! I love these weekly explorations to welcome the weekend!

Sea salt, cinnamon, and basil tend to find their way into most of the spells I create or adapt. They work well, don’t cost much, and are easy to use

Very tough question! I’m going to cheat a little and break it into two categories because otherwise I couldn’t pick! For sweet pie, an autumn pear and apple is a delight :red_apple: :pear: . Chicken pot pie takes the gold medal for me for savory pies :yum: :pie:

Dragonrider? Dragonrider

For real world jobs, I guess I’d staff an international buffet - if only for the free samples of cuisine from around the world.

Just got a new incense burner, so I’m expanding my incense practice! I love stick incense and it hasn’t led me astray, but it’s also neat to try something new  :incense:

My family and air conditioning :folded_hands:

Great questions as always, @Nikki-Phoenix - thank you so much for sharing them! :hugs:

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

  1. Candles? It’s not an ingredient per say, but yeah, I use a lot of candles. Rosemary and lavender. I just like how they work together.
  2. Pumpkin! I love when it’s Pumpkin Pie time!
  3. Museum curator at a History Museum. I’d love to look at all the exhibits!
  4. Mirror Magic, and then I’ve got a book on Chaos Magic, thanks to the Coven!
  5. That my hand looks to be finally healing well.

Have a good Friday everyone!

That would be sooooo fun! :see_no_evil_monkey::rofl:

  • Tell us about 3 of your favorite ingredients to use in spells and rituals…or any hacks you’ve discovered! - Just three! Mugwort hands down every single time I do a Spell, Alfalfa Leaf, and Holy Basil Leaf.

  • What is your favorite kind of pie (savory or sweet)? - Oh, that’s easy, APPLE :red_apple:

  • If you could try out any job temporarily, what would it be? - I have NO clue.

  • What are you exploring at the moment, magickally? Is that even a word? - @Nikki-Phoenix Of course that’s a word girl! I am reading the Witch’s Way by Shawn Robbins and Leanna Greenway. It’s the third book in the Wiccapedia Series. Ive mentioned this before. It’s becoming my top Witch Book with Wiccapedia! It’s phenomenal! I highly recommend it. They’re really funny too.

  • What are you most grateful for at the moment? - I am grateful for a lot of things at the moment. Most grateful for this Coven though to be honest. I have mentioned this before, I have never fit in anywhere. People have been mean to me my whole life. Im a loner. I didn’t have any friends until I joined this Coven! Now I actually have friends! Like omg! You don’t know how grateful I am for that. Going my whole life without friends or anyone to talk to who didn’t yell at me, scream at me, put me down, berate me, and abuse me, has been tough. Now I don’t have to worry about that anymore. So thank you to all of you wonderful souls! Thank you for accepting me for ME!

Aww @Selena-Paloma, your last question really pulled at my heartstrings.
I completely understand what you mean about this coven—it’s been a lifeline for me too. I only joined a few months ago when I first discovered my path and was searching for guidance. Finding this space has been such a gift. It’s helped me understand so much about myself and the craft.
The world can be incredibly harsh at times, so it’s truly heartwarming to know you’ve found such a beautiful, supportive place to belong.

Blessed be :raising_hands: xx

Tell us about 3 of your favourite ingredients to use in spells and rituals…or any hacks you’ve discovered!

  1. Candles
  2. Crystals
  3. Incense
  4. I don’t consider any of them vital but they are fun to use and help set a mood.

What is your favourite kind of pie (savoury or sweet)?

  1. Sweet, Apple or Strawberry Rhubarb… no… Lemon Chiffon. Yeah… that’s the ticket. Maybe French Silk… no… Coconut Cream. Definitely Coconut Cream… or maybe…
  2. Savory: Burritos

If you could try out any job temporarily, what would it be?

  1. High ranking politician. I would love to know what makes them tick.
  2. Manager at a machine gun factory. Long ago, my undergrad English teacher did that in WWII. She had great ‘war’ stories. I loved her personality and would like to trace some of her steps.

What are you exploring at the moment, magickally? Is that even a word?

  1. Black Mirrors. Not doing too hot but I found a BIG black mirror and will crank it up tonight
  2. Cards… lots of cards.

What are you most grateful for at the moment?

  1. The SO. She is currently under the weather and I am worried. She isn’t supposed to get sick.
  2. My family (besides the SO). They are doing well and always in contact.
  3. Long rides on my favorite steed. (Photshopped, I was actually riding a bicycle)

  • Tell us about 3 of your favourite ingredients to use in spells and rituals…or any hacks you’ve discovered!

I love using herbs: usually rosemary and basil. I always light a candle. I like to have an element from the outdoors nearby: oftentimes a feather, lately flower blossoms that have dropped.

  • What is your favourite kind of pie (savoury or sweet)?

Mmm…pie! A savory would be any kind of meat pie. A sweet pie: cherry pie, with tart cherries.

  • If tou could try out any job temporarily, what would it be?

An editor in a publishing house. Being paid to read sounds fantastic - and I just like being around literature.

  • What are you exploring at the moment, magickally? Is that even a word?

If it wasn’t a word before, it is now! I’m having a lot of fun studying Lenormand cards.

  • What are you most grateful for at the moment?

My SO and my cats. Snug in our little bungalow.
