Well it’s the end of the week, and the start of the weekend, so I thought a little lightness would be nice! All you have to do is copy and paste the questions, and add your answers…have fun!
What is your superpower?
If you could be an ambassador to any country, which would you choose?
Finish this sentence: I can’t live without…
What are you proud of this week?
We’re all going on a picnic - what would you bring?
Here are my answers:
What is your superpower?
Being able to bear the burdens of others without breaking. And making people smile.
If you could be an ambassador to any country, which would you choose?
Jamaica probably, any excuse to get back there! Although Egypt comes in a close second place.
Finish this sentence: I can’t live without…
My daughter, my crystals and Spells8 apparently!
What are you proud of this week?
That I haven’t slapped anyone. And Kiana has made great progress this week, so I’m proud of her too.
We’re all going on a picnic - what would you bring?
Sandwiches, a cocktail or 2, and a bluetooth speaker so we could listen to tunes!
I love this, we could all use a little bit of lighthearted fun, I know I do!
I’ve been told that I’m good at spreading excitement
I’ve always had this connection to India…
Love! It’s the only thing that makes real sense
For going through this transformative eclipse portal, that was not at all fun and games But I came through it stronger, and with a better sense of what’s important in my life.
And I made this killer leather harness I’m happy how it turned out, even though it was my first time making something that complex out of the material.
Uhhh… I’m too much of a tourist. I enjoy learning other cultures. Y’all can be ambassadors for me!
A bird who needs me in order to survive, a friend I can rely upon for my own survival, and Spells8. At last for now. That changes. Before Covid, I would have said my writing, my belief system, and unicorn quests for exercize.
I was able to take out the trash today! Yeah, it’s been that intense.
Candles and incense for a ritual to share, a charcuterie board of various meats and cheeses and crackers, and some caffeine to keep me going.
Thanks for joining in @CelestiaMoon & @georgia, I love your answers and I would never have guessed them!
Well done you! That sounds like an interesting journey, care to share more? The cat is also a great idea, I miss mine. And well done for making a leather harness!
That’s a good idea, wouldn’t have thought of a ritual…I love it! If only we could have a picnic in real life…
I came face to face with how vulnerable I’m to addictions, and how I shouldn’t try my luck there too much. Decided to set a hard limit for myself when it comes to alcohol and other substances. I’d rather reach those states through meditation and raising energy. Even if it may be slower, it’s gentler for the whole system
Started feeling that I’ve explored the dark side quite a bit now, and it’s time for some light. And it’s the perfect season for it!
In that case I could also bring my drum and fire making supplies
What is your superpower? I tend to make bad ideas work out well.
If you could be an ambassador to any country, which would you choose? England (friends, history), Germany (work ethic, practical approaches), Peru (love of nature)
Finish this sentence: I can’t live without… my SO
What are you proud of this week? Up until today I was happy about not irritating someone.
We’re all going on a picnic - what would you bring? Shelter, spicy burritos and hot chocolate. It is 45F (~ 8C) and wind gusts to 40 mph.
Hmm, I think my reading speed I’m not a speed reader, but I do read pretty quickly. And I love to read long stories. I’ve read The Stand at least five times, and It twice. LOL!
Italy. For the food. They’d have to roll me back on the plane when my ambassadorship was over.
Books and fanfiction. Give me something to read and I’m a happy camper.
Surviving getting another CT Scan done, and by that I mean getting up way too early, riding on back roads in the dark without getting car sick, getting through admistration drama, and drinking the nasty drink you have to do for contrast. Not to mention waiting over an hour for my ride home to pick me up. All told I was out just about nine hours.
I was tired yesterday, but I did it!
Probably Lime Gelatin Salad, because it was staple for picnics and potlucks when I was a kid and it’s cheap and easy to make. It brings back so many good memories too!
Wow… I liked The Stand but ‘five times’? You are my heroine!
Seriously, the ability to read and comprehend faster is a great skill/gift. I took a speed reading course when I was younger and it has paid off. It ranks right up there with the typing class I took in High School. Both courses were taken for dubious reasons but paid me back nicely.
I love The Stand. It’s been a few years, but I might read it again. I used to read that book Mists of Avalon once a year. Man, am I glad for Kindles! It’s much easier to cart one of those around than a huge book!
But the fan fiction I’m about to finish today has taken me four days to read with 746,386 words. I love it when they’re long!
Thanks to everyone who joined in, I hope you enjoyed it! Maybe I’ll do a Fun Friday each week, if that’s okay with everyone? We should always make time for a lil bit of fun!
I hope you’ve all had a blessed week! Here’s 5 questions if you fancy a little fun - enjoy!
Choose any 5 fictional superheroes or characters to form your team.
What are you grateful for this week?
If you woke up for a midnight snack which you didn’t have to make yourself, what would it be?
What is your favourite crystal and why?
Name one thing you will do for yourself this weekend?
Choose any 5 fictional superheroes or characters to form your team.
The Scarlet Witch, Dr Strange, Superman, Hulk and of course, Dr Jean Grey aka The Phoenix.
What are you grateful for this week? Spring, because as it gets warmer and the earth comes back to life it’s just really pretty to see and extremely energising.
3.If you woke up for a midnight snack which you didn’t have to make yourself, what would it be?
I’m a sucker for the old classic, apple crumble and custard. In fact, with or without custard, I don’t think you can beat a good apple pie.
4.What is your favourite crystal and why?
If I had to choose just one I’d probably say Amethyst, I just connect to it so well on so many levels. But Selenite is a very close second, mainly because it’s cleansing energy is so purifying and relaxing.
5.Name one thing you will do for yourself this weekend?
Meditate more. As time goes on and I do it more, it gets easier and easier, and it’s soooo relaxing which is exactly what I need these days.
Have a fabulous and magickal weekend everyone, love, hugs and sparkles!
Choose any 5 fictional superheroes or characters to form your team.
Iron Man. Batman. Keira Marcos’ version of Harry Potter. Rodney McKay. Wonder Woman as my heavy hitter.
What are you grateful for this week?
That my leg is almost healed! So thankful!
I don’t eat much at night anymore, but as a kid my Dad would bring fresh jelly donuts when he got home from work at 3 am and wake me up and we’d eat them. So that.
Amethyst. It’s pretty and purple. I like it’s qualities. It’s my birthstone. And there used to be a comic called Amethyst Princess of the Gemworld that my Dad would buy me and that got me really hooked on liking it. Nostalgia I guess.
I want to watch the Avengers Infinity War and Endgame. I’ve been putting it off until I had plenty of fix it stories to help fix the ending. Because Tony Stark is one of my woobies and I wuv him. LOL!
I’d have to ask the focus for the team! Different projects would require different team members. Still, if I had a general life team, they would include The Lady Amalthea, Hermione Granger, Tony Somnolandrig, Stag, and Pink.
Pinkeye is gone! I was able to ask my driver to get me some groceries and have her come in to deliver them. That felt soooo good, just to see a human face!
Grandma’s crackers with jelly- especially if it’s quince!
I like rutilated quartz. It gathers sunshine and feeds it back to me over time. I enjoy the golden streaks through the clear quartz. It’s also fun when the quartz catches rainbows.
I have already begun, so I will continue evicting germies. Got a lot done, today, already.
@Nikki-Phoenix - You come up with some fun things. Love it.
Choose any 5 fictional superheroes or characters to form your team.
Captain Video (old theater serial), Kraven (Marvel), Rorshach (Watchmen), Dr. Manhattan (Watchmen), Mindy Macready (Kickass). I chose these because they were not all powerful and had human components that were realistic… except Dr. Manhattan. Dr. Manhattan could whup Superman.
Our house didn’t get crushed in the storm. Until recently I parked my truck in the driveway. To the left of the tree there is a power box for us and our neighbor. The tree had to fall perfectly and it did.
Mom used to complain about me making a mess while attempting to clean. I surprised her one day by shrugging and saying: “You have to make a mess to clean a mess.”
We’ve come to the end of another week, and the start of the weekend so feel free to join in the fun!
Tell us 5 cartoons and 2 movies you loved as a kid.
What lesson did you learn this month?
Finish this sentence: I was walking down the street and I imagined…
You’re dancing in your bedroom - what song is playing?
What are you looking forward to next month?
Here are my answers:
Thundercats, She-Ra, Captain Planet, Trap-Door (scared me senseless back then) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. My 2 fave movies were FernGully and The Never-Ending Story.
Just because something seems right, and feels right, doesn’t mean it’s right. Change is hard - if it was easy, everyone would do it.
…being able to fly and view the city from high in the sky. Any random item that happened to drop on unsuspecting bad people would be entirely coincidental and completely unrelated.
Lately, Spotify has been stuck on “Water” by Tyla, bearing in mind I’d never heard of the song until it popped up in a dancing video on my Facebook feed about 3 weeks ago. It is also fond of Natalie Cole’s “This Will Be”, and that always reminds me of the movie Taxi when the guy is driving backwards and screaming along to this song
A little more peace - the changes that have happened and are still happening make me feel a bit like the Tasmanian Devil, and I really just need to recharge.
