Like perhaps many here, I’ve felt drawn to natural magic my whole life and finally started practising properly this year. Grew up surrounded by nature and always sensed her power. Felt alienated and frustrated by the punishing and judgemental influence of the institutionalized Christian church, and always longed for a Pagan community instead. I’ve also been part of a Buddhist group and see many interesting parallels in terms of the powerful effects of meditation, intention and compassion. I find comfort, balance and strength in daily practice. This is a lovely and inspiring community. Merry meet!

You will find many of us here have had issues with the Christian religion. We have practitioners of all kinds in here, so it’s a great place to learn all kinds of magick.

I’m Kat and I found the practice over 30 years ago but lost my way for a while. I came home a few years ago and found this amazing group of people!! I practice eclectic green magick and am interested in tarot, runes, ogham, herbalism, and moon magic. I work with Artemis (she’s been with me since the beginning), Selene and Hekate.
I am drawn to Buddhism as well and find so much value in meditation and started with Hatha Yoga many many years ago.

Yes I think it’s easy to lose ones way on this path because ( before online social media) , the modern materialist world didn’t make it easy for groups like this to exist.
I’m in Scotland and although we have the Scottish Pagan Federation there are currently no regular in-person group gatherings here that I’m aware of. And although I love solitary practice I do feel its important to gather collectively as well. I would love nothing more than a group gathering in person to celebrate the sabbats where the collective raising of energy would be so healing and powerful.
In the meantime it’s nice to be here online and meet you all!
