This picture is from a book where I took the chocolate spell recipe mentioned by @BryWisteria and because it was a success here on the coven I decided to reveal my little secret. Actually, all these recipes from this book are very popular in Brazil and the truth is that I’m afraid to do some of these spells because Afro-Brazilian love spells use the chicken heart. The chicken heart represents the heart of your beloved. I gotta be madly in love to do this lol
There is another fantastic spell that I want to share here. Maria uses in her rituals the Romanian Gypsy spells. This Gypsy Love Binding Spell you’ll have to do it on the Full Moon
One red apple
One piece of white virgin paper
Honey
One piece of red ribbon
Cut the apple in half and remove the seeds. Write on the white virgin paper the name of the person you want to bind. Place this paper inside the apple and cover it with honey. Rejoin the two halves of the apple and tie the ribbon. Place next to a beautiful tree.
That is a beautiful spell! I am always afraid to do love spells because you just never know what is going to happen and if you want to be with that person forever when it gets to be 20 years into the relationship and he’s still an alcoholic and no matter how much work you do on yourself, he sees nothing in himself that he needs to work on, but he may be a small narcissist… so there’s that…
Enough about me and the TMI, I think if I found the right person though, I could bring myself to do this spell for us.
I have a book that calls for a “heart of a pigeon” too! Traditional love spells are all like this. But I think they’re a bit of a double-edged sword… You’re always tampering with someone’s will.
In my country, Argentina, it’s the same with saints. Saint Anthony is a big one for getting people together (prayers, statues, offerings). But personally, I rather work a spell on myself: for confidence, for clarity, for guidance.
Like Krissie said, even if the binding spell works, how stable is a relationship going to be if you had to “force it” with Magic?
Ohhh this sounds like such a fascinating book! Love spells have been in practice throughout history and I find them really interesting. Like Francisco mentioned, they can definitely be a double-edged sword And for better or worse- that is what love is, after all! Spells like love spells that influence the decisions of others should always be carefully considered before attempting- and the requirement of a chicken heart certainly adds a whole new level of contemplation!
Hi Krissie! I think you should give a try and if you change your mind, there are many banishing spells you could practice it. I like to light a black candle and I also add some sea salt on a plate to banish things there are not necessary in my life anymore.
The Saint Anthony is a catholic saint that is likewise popular in Brazil. As a very traditional country people are attached with the idea of a perfect marriage and that’s why it’s very common single catholic women to put a St Anthony statue nearby the entry door of their homes. And as a witch I rather place a fake bat on my entry door and then I’ll put it away the annoying neighbor (I’m just kidding lol)
Love binding spells you gotta be sure of what you are doing. I never did seriously a love binding spell, but I really like Love Charms and Self-love Spells.
