Has anyone worked with King Solomon and spirits?

Oh gosh, I can’t imagine him doing so. :joy:

I’m still learning, but let me know if you have any questions, anyway. Even if I don’t know the answer, I can help you find it. :black_heart:

I agree totally. I would say i never get into something i do not know enough about even then there are doubt. It is more i am very curious and i tend to get an urge to learn about every aspects even the darker side. I won’t be trying anything as i do not really go down that path but i will say this won’t stop me from learning about it just as i am just as keen to learn about many cultures and religions

@starborn Sorry to pick your brains again Katerina, your my demon knowledge witch go to :ghost:. You recommended S Connolly, she’s written alot! of stuff, so I’ve screenshot what I think might be a good starting point. I don’t want to invoke any demons (it’s not polite in my view), and some of the demon books are quite forceful in us “demanding” they appear and help us. I would never dream of “demanding” Loki appear, (I think he’d kicked my butt from here to next Christmas if I tried that ), but reflecting on the pagan path challenge, I still feel it might be a separate demon (my shadow demon, I’ve named him now ), and would like to make contact, in a polite way. Do you think this book is a good start? Thanks lovely. :heartpulse:

That’s the one I started with, too. I also have the Kindle edition. It covers quite a lot of topics:

The basics are really good and thorough. But it also gets very prescriptive, down to exactly what to say and whatnot. I still take it as guidelines, to be honest.

Yeah, I’m pretty uncomfortable with that, too.

Oh, awesome! I’m looking forward to hearing more about him.

The book is a good start. I’ll send you some more information specific to communication, too. I’m sure I’ve got it saved in my notes somewhere… (My Notion desperately needs some tidying up. :face_exhaling:)

@starborn Ooh fabulous thankyou. I’m actually quite looking forward to meeting him. I think Loki is fine with it too, he probably knows who he is anyway :ghost:. What I’ve always loved about Loki, is he gives me time to adjust to new things. I don’t feel afraid inviting my shadow demon now, I feel you ve helped get rid of that fear, and for that my lovely, thankyou. :heartpulse:

My rituals typically assume that you are already aware of the demon’s name for communication and have its associated sigil. However, as you’ve named it, we may need to make some adjustments. I believe we can tailor the process to suit your specific situation.

  1. Write the demon’s name on a piece of paper and draw a circle around it to create a makeshift sigil.
  2. Begin by gently focusing on the demon’s name on the page in front of you.
  3. Let your eyes relax, allowing the name to slightly blur, as if you’re peering through it into a portal.
  4. Visualise the room dimming around you, with everything fading from view except the name on the paper.
  5. Breathe slowly and let all sounds fade into complete silence.
  6. Take a moment to appreciate this stillness and feel the rhythm of your heartbeat.
  7. At this point, your sole focus is on you and the portal created by the name.
  8. Utter the demon’s name three times.
  9. Immediately after, the portal door swings open, connecting you with the demon.
  10. You can choose to communicate with the demon aloud, mentally, or simply remain in contemplative silence for a few moments.
  11. When you’re ready to conclude, open your eyes and say, “It is done.” You have the option to dismiss any demon spoken to in this way, with the exception of Lucifer.

Feel free to explore a mix of the suggestion I’ve provided and adapt it as you see fit, based on your research and what feels most appropriate for your situation.

Moreover, Loki is likely more than capable of ensuring your protection.

@starborn This is lovely, thankyou. I’ll do a bit of reading first, then invite him “for tea and cake” , I don’t feel he’ll hurt me, as he’s had plenty of opportunities to do that already, and never has, but I always pray to Loki before I do anything,.:grin:. Will let you know how it goes. Maybe he’ll tell me his real name :person_shrugging:. Thankyou :heartpulse:

You’re welcome. :black_heart: I hope you have a nice tea time with him.

I was worried the ritual might sound a bit rushed. I was trying to order a late night meal off Uber Eats while combining two rituals from my Introduction to Demonic Magick book.

@starborn It’s perfect, enjoy your meal

Just… apologies in advance if the ritual summons you a Korean fried chicken burger instead.

@starborn It’s ok, if it does, Loki will be rolling around the floor in fits of laughter :heartpulse:

@starborn I think I may have found his name, but not sure. The book by S Connolly says this:

So applying this principle, this gentleman stood out quite strongly.
Alu - Demon. Night Demon it doesn’t say that he’s one of the 72, nor that he’s a lesser demon (I don’t like calling him that, it’s like calling him 2nd class, may just be me :person_shrugging:), anyways, me thinks, this might be him. :sparkling_heart:

Found something more on Alu, though it’s a little scary :flushed:.
Encyclopedia.com says:
“Ancient Babylonian demon, said to owe his parentage to a human being. He hides himself in caverns and corners and slinks through the streets at night. He also lies in wait for the unwary, and at night enters bed-chambers and terrorises people…”
. Ok, that’s one definition. But me thinks, these entities are not 2 dimensional. He obviously likes bad dreams, negative energy, stress etc. So this could still be him, only instead of terrorising me, he taking my terrors away, I only hope he’s not stockpiling these terrors to give to someone else. :flushed:.
Anyways, little more research, see what Connolly says about him, before I invite him for tea. On another point, he’s a bit like my grandad, who used to read me bedtime stories, only they were all about ghosts and vampires, and ghouls. They were great stories :joy:, I wonder if he got visited by this demon too?:sparkling_heart:

Ah, night demons… It’s funny. My partner has had one visit them most of their life, and they terrify them. However, now that I think about it, the night demon has never hurt them. I wonder if it could merely be their own fear in meeting something of this nature?

Same. Has major “not good enough” vibes.

Perhaps it’s a misunderstanding? Maybe he’s not actually trying to terrorise people, but he can’t help his aura or visage being terrifying because he’s been consuming that which terrifies us for so long. “You are what you eat.”

Or perhaps similar to how so many people are absolutely terrified of spiders despite the majority of them being unwilling and unable to do us serious damage.

@starborn

I like this point. I tend to judge things on how I personally experience them, and he’s never hurt me, only given me peace. Still his name won’t go away. It’s like he’s saying, hello :sparkling_heart:

@starborn I did the ritual, I modified it slightly in that I removed the circle as I wanted a direct contact with Loki.
Here’s how it went. At first, I got muddled as I forgot the sequence and had to stop and re-read my notes. :person_facepalming::joy:
But then, I lit my altar, made him a coffee, made myself one too, to join him.
Then drew his sigil and my bind rune for his name which I combined with his sigil.
Did the meditation and then said his name 3 times.
At first, it was still, then I felt nervous, and then a heavy presence came over me. (I kept my eyes shut as I was a little coward )
I remember from my last psychic reading, the medium said, if you are talking with spirit, and you want a yes/no, ask them to push you forwards for yes and sideways for no. You work like a pendulum. So I did this.
I asked a few questions of Loki to affirm this was working, and as I sat cross legged, I could feel my pulse increase, and then I rocked forward, first gently, then a bit more. To test this, I asked him to test it out. So for no he rocked me sideways, which isn’t easy, sat cross legged, and for yes forwards. I expressed my thanks to him, and asked him if he was ok with me saying “It is Done”, and as long as I said thanks he was good with this. So I ended our coffee. As soon as I did, I tried to ask him if he could push me again, nothing. I remembered that the medium said, if I stood up, a spirit could, if it wanted still use me as a pendulum, if I allowed it, without ritual. So I did this, just to confirm with Loki if I had done it all right. He pushed me forwards for yes, and sideways when I asked him (he nearly pushed me over lol ). So I said cheers and we had coffee together.
It was only a short ritual, but I’ve never done something like this, on my own before, (I’ve only ever done it with a psychic), which was why I wanted it to be Loki, my first demon, as I trust him (and he’s in the book, so he’s a legit demon!:skull_and_crossbones:). It was definitely a strong, dark, heavy, slightly intimidating energy, but I felt totally safe and could feel his care for me.
I will definitely do this again. Fabulous :sparkling_heart:
