Hello, from New York

Welcome to the Forum, Dee!!

I’m glad to hear you’re ready to keep exploring Wicca and witchcraft!

I like the writing style of Lisa Chamberlain, she makes everything easy to understand. What book did you read?

Thanks for your introduction! Feel free to comment on any topic you like. If you have a connection to any deities, this week’s challenge is about that so you can share it with us!

Blessed Be!

Awesome! If I think of any others I will let you know. I know that in the online courses it has suggested readings and that’s where I got the recommendation. Right now I am reading The Spirit of the Celtic Gods and Goddesses; Their History, Magical Power, and Healing Energies by Carl McColman and Kathryn Hinds.

Thank you, Francisco, a pleasure as well! Oh boy, I’ve been reading so many of them! Recent read is “WICCA, finding your path” But what’s funny is while reading her book I stumbled across your site Spell8. (A YouTube video) I felt so at ease! I’m learning that everything is connected and that the universe will help you out if you trust it. Like you say her way of writing is so simple and she explains everything perfectly.
Grateful to be here and keep on learning!
Thank you for having me.
Blessed be .

Merry Meet to you, @walter! :heart_decoration:

It’s wonderful your practice has called you back- and we are very blessed to have you join us! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I know there can be a lot of information all at once, but it seems like you are doing a great job finding your way already! If you feel a bit unsure, a great place to begin is the Wicca Self-Initiation:

Wicca-Self-Initiation

You may already know some of the material covered, but the initiation can help you to get your footing and feel grounded as you continue to learn and strengthen your practice! :sparkles: I also recommend browsing the forums for any particular topics of interest- there are many talented witches here with lots of advice and tips to share! :hugs: Feel free to jump in on or create any new topics as you wish :two_hearts:

Like Francisco mentioned, we have the Weekly Challenge, and you are also warmly invited to the Weekly Group Ritual (happening today- feel free to jump in and join for a communal cup of tea!) :tea:

It is truly a pleasure to meet you, Dee, and I’m looking forward to talking with you more!

Blessed Be!

I hope you have found that you like it here! I learn something new everyday and I try to at least do meditations every day too. I have a small morning ritual that I have strayed from recently because of some new about my diagnosis and struggling with my mental health, but I think it’s about resolved and now it’s just learning how to manage it the best I can with the help from my family.
