Hello from Wyoming

Hi, everyone. I’m really excited to be part of this group. I’m fairly new to the craft. I have been researching herbs, oils, nature, shadow work, energy work and tarot, kind of fumbling around like a chicken with head cut off. I have already seen so much I want to learn from all of you. I look forward to our chats. Blessed Be

Hi, @BSmurf! I’m Amethyst from Southern West Virginia. Welcome to the forum! :infinite_roots:

It’s great to have you here! I understand wandering around like a chicken with its head cut off! It’s like you don’t know where to start! The lovely and talented @Nikki-Phoenix has provided you with some great pointers; I’d start there.

Or if you want something simpler, wait until next Thursday and do the Group Ritual. Those are fun and a great way to get your feet wet!

If you have any questions, just ask, and someone will pop up and give you a hand. I look forward to getting to know you!

Welcome @BSmurf ! It’s great to have you with us! I’m from Minnesota and have been practicing many different aspects of the craft for 35+ years. I currently work with voodoo, divination and demonology. I’m also studying Enochian Magick.

This is a wonderful group of practitioners. If you ever have questions, don’t hesitate to ask. There is always someone who can guide you.

Look forward to learning and growing with you!

Hello @BSmurf,

Welcome! I’m Bry, an Eclectic Witch and one of the moderators. Thank you for sharing your introduction - it’s very nice to meet you

Those are all wonderful areas to explore! Congrats to you for jumping in and pursuing your passions. As for feeling like a headless chicken, no fear - I think most people feel overwhelmed at the start. Rest assured that things will get easier and confidence will flow with time. At the same time, it’s hard to be bored - there’s always more to explore when it comes to magick! :books: :mage:

Make yourself at home here, @BSmurf! Blessed be :sparkles:

Hi! I’m Dan and I study belief systems. I fall loosely under the Chaos umbrella.

Welcome! One of my current obsessions is cards. If you want to practice Tarot (or Lenormand) there are month long exercises that have a question a day that you can participate in and get lots of experience in a fun way. The Tarot one is HERE and the Lenormand one is HERE. In addition, there are several weekly posts for Tarot. Just search for them. Have fun!
