Hi!

I’m new here. My name is Matthew but I often go by Mattie. I am a Hellenistic dark pagan. Hellenistic meaning that I work exclusively with the Greek pantheon and dark pagan meaning that I primarily honor and cultivate the ‘Self’ and work with the darker forces of the universe like death, night, the underworld, nightmares, the moon, etc.

I consider myself on ‘the left hand path’ but I don’t identify with or incorporate any entity from the Abrahmic worldview including demons or devils. As a pagan I don’t believe in them.

I’ve been practicing various forms of paganism and witchcraft since I was 15 so about 24 years now but I am still learning and have plenty of questions. Most of my experience is solitary but I’m open to practicing with others.

I live in Northern Connecticut, USA. I love the goth subculture, watching horror movies, listening to dark music and playing video games.

Hello and welcome. I’m Tracy from England. I follow the Nordic pagan path and practice chaos and Norse witchcraft and runes. Loki is my patron deity. We have a few witches on the left hand path, me, I think mines the crooked path if Loki ever let’s me know where I’m going :rofl:

It sounds as if you’re going to fit right in! We have a few on the Left Hand Path, as you call it, and more than a few are Middle of the Road Path, if there is such a thing. We all get along together here!

Welcome again @Mattie_Nox ! I’ve been practicing on and off for 35+ years. I’ve dabbled in many different styles of witchcraft and picked up a little knowledge from every single one. I’m currently starting a journey with voodoo.

I’m what you would consider an eclectic witch, though the term “folk witch” seems to be fitting me more and more lately. I’m also a Celtic pagan with a focus on Irish deities and mythologies. That’s so awesome. I am on the left hand path myself and have practiced with the infernal divine in the past. I was a Satanist for a good while, especially when I was younger but since have branched out a bit more to ecletic dark tastes.

I’m Katerina, and I currently reside in Australia with my partner and two cats. :smile: Hekate is my matron deity, but I also work a lot with Nyx, Selene, Lilith, Lucifer, and Belial. Most recently, I’ve been working through a project that has Leviathan, Lilith, and Lucifer as its main trinity.

I also love watching horror movies, listening to dark music, and playing video games. :grin:

I took my buddhist vows in 2012 and my buddhist name is Janchup Pelozum. Meaning gathering enlightement. I have an almost daily chanting practice and meditation practice. I have been practicing magic since 2012. But practiced divination staring at 12.
I like reading, making art and watching good stories via film and TV.

I am returning after being away from the forum off and on then more regularly due to Life going off the rails,** for about 2 years. I’m circling back now, though, to some kind of balance anyway :laughing: Chaos, liminal, the Shadow… We’ve become great friends.

I can’t say that I can’t label my practice, as it has evolved quite a bit since I came back to it in 2020. When I was younger, I practiced, too. I’m literally in a complete overhaul phase of restarting.

I am a learner, though. At times, I will find myself in more rabbit holes and deep dives than I know what to do with. Most of my practice is with the Irish pantheon I suppose it’s also Celtic. Sometimes it’s easier to say Celtic but it leans heavily Irish.

I have a whole playlist labeled Ma Only because I am pretty much the only person in the house who listens to that type of music. I haven’t been to a show since 2019; the last show I believe I saw was either Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie or Korn and… I honestly can’t remember the other bands that played with them. I think I was goth before it was goth and way before emo was a thing, now that I think about it.

Horror, thriller, and those types of books, movies, and the like are something we do at our house. We will have marathons of them :rofl: I can’t even list the many movies and series we have watched lately.

I do love :heart: to learn about different things. I was brought up Catholic, but it didn’t sit with me. I don’t believe in what they would call Heaven or Hell nor God, Devil, Demons, and such in their context.

I’m also not light or dark. I suppose I’m somewhere in the middle. Gray? I have been doing a lot of work on the self and shadow. And I have been through the wringer more than once with my deities, especially in the last year. They sort of tag-teamed me for a little while there, which was definitely not a good time but a wonderful experience once I made it to the other side.
