Hmmm. . . Not a Taurus to be seen.
Oh my favourite season…an excuse to eat and be lazy
You have a lot going on in Virgo though so you still have a very “earthy chart” and your Virgo sun sign has a lot in common with Taurus. They are both grounded, practical and rooted in stability. However, the laid back and slow nature of Taurus season can frustrate Virgo in their strive for perfection. Taurus season also means you might be faced with stubbornness and refusal to budge, which goes against more flexible Virgo.
Your ascendant is in Libra. Libra is ruled by Venus, which also rules Taurus. In fact because Venus rules your ascendant, it means it’s your chart ruler… so Taurus’s planet actually rules your whole chart.
Venus is connected to love, beauty, harmony, relationships, and values, so during this season, you may feel extra drawn to these areas.
Taurus loves comfort and stability, so you might feel that you want to make your space more beautiful, enjoy great food or create a calming atmosphere. Since your Libra energy also seeks beauty and harmony, you could feel like you want to surround yourself with loving, balanced people and create a more comfortable environment.
So although you have no planets in Taurus, it is very much part of your chart by other means,
Blessed Be
Alan
Thank you for going over my chart and identifying aspects that I’m only beginning to understand. I’ve been trying to break things down into bite-sized pieces so I don’t get overwhelmed. There’s so much in astrology that I tend to get lost in it.
I think of Shrek when he said “ogres are like onions…we both have layers” Astrology is the same. The deeper you go in, the more you uncover, but at the same time, the more complex it becomes to piece togther.
When starting with astrology it is often best to uncover layer at a time:
- Sun sign, Moon Sign and Rising Sign (the big 3).
- Planets in signs
- Planets in houses
- eEements and qualities
- Aspects
- Other points on the chart (MC, IC, Descendant)
- Essential Dignity of the planets
- Asteroids
- Progressions and transits
How far you unpeel the onion will depend on your confidence and level of understanding. Take it one layer at a time. Try to fully understand each one before unpeeling the next and seeing how it links to what you have already discovered.
Good luck with your astrology exploration and feel free to ask anything at all if you are unsure or want to know more.
Blessed Be,
Alan
My oldest is a Taurus and my daughter in law is a Gemini… They have an Aries son…
I have to revisit my birth chart again, it’s been a while since I’ve really looked at it or tried to put it together… If that makes sense… I’ll get there eventually!
A spring triplicity! The Aries son will be the one in charge! Lol. Taurus will persist and stick to their guns and the Gemini will just go with what Aries tells them
