I was up at 3:30 this morning and went out into the back yard. It was so beautiful. As I looked up at the Hunter’s moon, I was thrilled to see a lovely reddish-rust ring around the moon. I bowed and thanked both Goddess and the moon for the gift.

Actually, now that I look at it again, it does look like the lens. Who knows. 🤷 It’s still beautiful!

Very cool! That’s one thing I miss living at the apartments, being able to just step outside my door. I’m glad you were able to see it!

Is it possible that the red spot is a planet? Mars, mercury or Jupiter, possibly? I know at least 2 of those are red (I was horrible in science so I’m not completely sure about mercury but I feel like all 3 of those planets are red/reddish orange)

I didn’t see a red moon, what I saw was like an aura around it.
