I made a sigil with ogham

I was playing with creating a sigil of my name using the Ogham alphabet. It was enjoyable for me since it combined structure and creativity. I prefer things to be structured, but if I have a running start I can be creative. This is what I came up with.

I circled the final product.

Oh I really like that & how it came out!

I am similar with my structure & creativity. What I had planned on doing for today, hasn’t happened yet. But I did get other things done that sort of have to do with starting the rest of my seeds  And found more makeshift greenhouses & things to use for starting said seeds

I just noticed that my “R” is slanted the wrong direction. Can you imagine having to do this in stone?!

I suppose it’s a lot like knowing your alphabet and how to write it out… But if it wasn’t something that you had been doing all of your life, I can see where it would get tough.

Ogham is fascinating, though, and one day I hope to have my staves. I’ll have to see if I can figure out how to spell out my name with it; I’m curious what that would look like now.

These links are insightful.

I found them here in other posts about the Ogham alphabet. I don’t remember who originally shared them. I tend to bounce around a lot, chasing squirrels
