So I updated yesterday that that interview invite was not going to happen. Disappointed, but not devastated.
Today I saw another position for a Supervisor (although in that area its called Manager). This is 2 pay grades above me but what the heck right? I have the skills, I have the degree now and am working on my Masters… so let’s be a little more confident.
in LESS than ONE hour I had the email inviting me to do the first level video interview!!! I am in no way ready to do this today (bad night sleep= foggy brain), which is fine, this is done on my own time as long as I complete it within 120 hours. I can guarantee I will do this tomorrow.
This is great! Sometimes we don’t get what we want because something better or different is waiting for us. Or sometimes we don’t get what we want because it’s not right for us. We may not have all the information we need.

I saw this last night and was deep into another topic and closed it out to get some sleep. This is great! Keep pushing.
Long ago and far away, that happened to me. I actually DID get what I wanted but in my push I ended up being qualified for something much bigger. Both opportunities landed on the same day and at about the same time. It was life changing.
