Keeping My Practice Simple

This morning, I did a tool consecration in my greenhouse and it was lovely. Since I am getting back to being witchy I appreciated the PDFs on Invocations to help simplify the process and help with the flow of the ritual. I learned something this morning about simplicity. I have rocks, shells, and other knick-knacks that correspond with the elements already in the greenhouse and it made a perfect altar. Being sheltered but cold kept me present and connected to the earth with all of the dirt and dead plants about. I needed some privacy and that helped. I think when I approached witchery before, I made it complicated ( the altar should look this way, being inside etc) and it felt good to keep it simple. This is in line with my current decluttering and that feels good. Bear with me, I may be aha-ing on some very basic stuff, thanks for letting me share. BTW I love my wand that made. It was fun to make and it feels good.

Sounds wonderful! What a great way to start the year. I agree with you that the information and printables on this site really help with the flow. Especially for new witches like me. Happy New Year.

@Amethyst
I did not do the carving, I had found a spoon at the thrift store and had saved it.
