I’ve been feeling for a while now that I’m being guided to prepare myself for starting a business, putting my heart and my unique flavor of healing out there. I’ve been doing a lot of inner work, and the pressure has been building, to take the step outwards.

I’ve always been very intuitive, but the flip side of that is that I’m a big ball of chaos that can’t be put in a box :sweat_smile: :boom: So trying to describe exactly what services I’d be offering is pretty difficult. The best I can come up with is “intuitive coaching”, “holding space”, something like that. It’s very much individual. Sitting with the client, the person, the body and the soul, in the same place, listening and mirroring, and offering tools and insight that we feel can help them shake up things a little, or a lot.

There are some methods that I can use and list… tarot, astrology, archetypes, rituals, energy work, dream interpretation, tantra, shamanic journeying, intuitive dancing, embodiment practices… also I like to think of myself as trauma informed. I resonate strongly with the dark feminine, and feel I can channel her for my healing. :black_heart:

Something that’s resonated with me lately, is sex work as light work. Something I’ll have to be careful exploring because of related trauma and the social stigma that exists still, but I’d love to integrate it into my services in some way. :heart:

I’ve found that there are many programs out there for getting started… what I’d need would be something that would be relevant to my local legislation, personal enough, and (this is the difficult one right now) something that I could afford. I haven’t found a good match, so I’ve been mostly just keeping this inside, letting it grow and find its form. :sparkles:

So I’m curious… what does this kind of service sound to you? And are there others here who have been where I have, and taken the step forward, or towards another direction? Any other thoughts or feelings, advice, encouragement? :hugs: :pink_heart:

Firstly I want to say congratulations. I think you will do wonders in helping people. I can’t give you any suggestions, but I know others will. Just wanted to say well done, really proud of you sweety. Am excited to see where this goes for you. I’m sure Lilith and Kali with be right beside you :sparkling_heart:

I think you will do amazing with helping people! :revolving_hearts: As far as the things that may be a little triggering or in some way related to a traumatic event, I would be careful & maybe either go slowly or work through things should they arise before continuing to offer the services for those things.

That’s going to be a fascinating balance to keep, to stay present and be able to hold the space from a comfortable enough place, still keeping it interesting and real and evolving ourselves, but not taking center stage :black_heart:

Congrats on following your bliss! I think you may do very well at coaching people. Have you thought of a sex therapist or professional cuddler? Those are both legal, I think, and help people!

Thank you :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: Those are good ideas and something I’ve thought of too. My tantra teacher is actually studying to become a sexual counselor in addition, I’ve been following her progress there closely :blush: The next step, sex therapist, would require a therapist or other healthcare professional qualification though.

Cuddling sounds like something we could include in our services though :blush: We’re feeling strongly that we want to make use of many different healing modalities in our work. :sparkling_heart:

Sex work is actually legal in Finland, both to buy and sell. There are still some legal issues though, like it can’t be advertised as such, and there can be no third parties profiting from it, which can include renting space for it. It’s a tricky field, but I hear there’s also support available for navigating those and other issues. :black_heart:

Oh wow, that’s a big step to take - and you’re already doing a great job by holding space for yourself to contemplate what you want to offer and how it can benefit those you would serve! :clap: :heart:

I don’t have any personal experience with anything you’ve mentioned, but I have thought about exploring the idea of spiritual and intuitive coaching. I’ve been told by a few people that I would be fairly good at it :joy: I just haven’t jumped in and started offering those services.

I think you will succeed at whatever you do! You have always approached all topics from a place of heartfelt gratitude and care - those traits will serve you well in serving others!

How great for you to explore stepping outward, and especially in a way that will help others. Your post made me take a look online at a whole body of work and certifications titled ‘trauma-informed coaching’ that I didn’t know about. I don’t have personal experience with this but I think your unique understanding of human nature and the methods you have available to use to get to root causes of suffering could be tremendously useful to your potential clients. The only business advice I can give you is keep it simple; especially at the start, and add on as your base grows. I also believe that things manifest when the right causes and conditions come along; you are already setting that intention; I believe continuing to do that will help you overcome the part about finding

Something that I’m completely missing, but I feel I more than make it up with personal experience :black_heart:

And something I feel I can bring to the table too, my own take on several methods. Right now what has worked for me, what resonates with me and my heart. With openness and humility to change what doesn’t work for someone else.

We’ll have to see if one of those courses is for me or if another way is placed on my path. I’m trying my best to listen to higher guidance here :sparkling_heart:

Well, my first thought was, “Damn, it’s in-person – I can’t be a customer.” :joy:

I know very little about anything relevant, however, other than maybe adding that sex work sounds similarly legal here and that I could probably point out a whole bunch of locations if I were to give you a tour of Sydney. :joy:

But I will be cheering you on every step of the way! There’s no doubt about whether you can achieve that which you desire here, just a question of when you get started. :black_heart: :heart:

Don’t mind me swooping in here to give you a big pat on the back and a huge hug of support- this sounds amazing, Celestia! :heart_eyes: You have such a big heart and so much love to share. Anyone who gets to enjoy your personal services is a lucky person indeed. I know you’d be able to help many people! And any kind of work that helps people be better and happier is a great job in my book :smile: :heart:

We may be on different paths, but we’re walking in the same direction - I’m also teetering right on the edge of pursuing my dream to pursuing my own small business! I want to be able to offer local, handmade and sustainable products- specifically local honey and pure beeswax. I just need to get set up and start my beekeeping journey first, which takes a few years to get going.

Anyways, all that is to say that I’m in a similar position and am so greatly inspired by you (and several others around here also pursuing their small business passions!) - let’s all try our best together! These big and wonderful dreams aren’t going to make themselves come true overnight- we gotta manifest them :handshake: :heart: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I’m not surprised :joy: and that has nothing to do with you! It’s the fact that we’re often, we are expected to do and be certain ways, and when we have things that we’re proud of or good at, many of us feel like we need to downplay those aspects of our lives. I hope that makes sense… I think it was @starborn that explained Imposter Syndrome very well lol

Then there’s the fact that I don’t like the way my current shop is set up so… :sweat_smile: I’ll get around to changing it eventually!
