And as I was doing my daily devotionals this morning, I added this Mabon prayer, from magickalspot.com
“Mother Earth, thank you for being my root, my anchor, my strength
Help me maintain having a rooted and centered home, health, work, and well-being.
Thank you spirit of the air
For your knowledge and understanding.
Thank you spirit of the fire for energy
For the constant support for the drive of ambition to complete our projects.
Thank you spirit of Water for gentle flowing
which helps to maintain calm and balance emotion.
Might this night be the night where the spiritual and the mundane world reconcile**
In the name of gratitude
Your work is done…
It’s time to recollect in peace…
Blessed be “
I also found a lovely ritual that I would like to do this evening, but since I’m a solitary, and this ritual is written for a group participation, I will have to modify it (or just leave out the sharing parts so I can do it tonight).
I got that little bowl on Etsy and actually just recently I dropped the original and cracked a big chunk out of it, so I had to order a new one. It’s a lovely store - she has all kinds of beautiful stuff. https://www.etsy.com/shop/Psykheka
I have just read my cards and given thanks for the abundance that I have in my life and prayers to those less fortunate. There is so much around - enough for everyone, if only we shared more.
I wish everyone happy mabon or as we say in Germany Erntedankfest
Maybe you were meant to get a new bowl. Maybe that bowl was waiting for you. It’s very pretty! And thank you for the link, I’ll look at it. When I have money. LOL!
Happy Erntedankfest! Your altar is beautiful! I love the big owl!
@Greenbriar Your altar looks gorgeous and the prayer is very pretty! Wishing you all the best with your ritual. I’m sure you’ll be able to adapt it to suit your needs - happy casting!
@anja3 Beautiful altar, Anja! Blessed Mabon and Erntedankfest
@Greenbriar your altar looks wonderful & @anja3 also has a lovely one too! I wish I had them to set up, I’m still trying to get in there to re-clean & reset my space
I love seeing how everyone sets them up for different sabbats, purposes, special dates, seasons… Always so inspiring!
I’ve been playing on a site called Night Cafe - @dan3 you would love it if you don’t already know about it. It allows you to enter prompts and create AI generated art using a variety of models.
Here’s one I did today to celebrate Mabon using Seedream 4.0
