I’ve made money jars before but it’s been a while. I will say it defiantly worked. Never made a bowl though. Does this look good? I tried to follow along with the guide the best I could, although I forgot to add my crystals until about 10 minutes later
I also have a “money” anointing oil, should i use that as well or is it not really necessary? I bought it a couple of months ago to use in a spell but never did end up using it besides a couple of dabs on my wrists and neck.
Wow, you go giiiirrrrrlllll!!! This is looking amazing!
It´s no problem to add things to money bowls later, actually there´s also a way of intentionally doing it this way, that you set up your bowl and add a little thing or two every day while reciting a spell or affirmation. There are so many ways, all of them are valid and you just pick the one that works best for you!
The same goes for using oils! I´m a sucker for a good spell-oil,
so I will dab it onto petitions, put it on candles or wear it on my body…I´m also annointing my Hecate figurine with her own sacred oil. But you do, what feels right for you! ![]()
it’s looking solid! If the money oil helps with the connection, add a bit to your money bowl as well. Good luck! ![]()
Look at that! Your money bowl is awesome, @underwaxingmoon. Congrats on making your first one!

There’s nothing wrong with adding/enhancing your money bowl over time, kind of like a multi-day spell (like the 7 day green candle spell). Every time you tend the bowl, adding things or feeing it energy, it gets stronger (at least in my experience!). I’d say to check in with your bowl in a day or two and see if it needs a boost. If it feels right, add the oil! ![]()
May your bowl bring you many blessings! ![]()
Thank you! That’s actually what I intended to do, add money to it over time so I will def add the oil at some point too, whenever it feels right. ![]()
That looks wonderful! And I like how you have the bay leaves and cinnamon sticks sort of pointing into the bowl, right where you need the money! Good job!
Thank you so much! It was so fun to make!
You’re welcome! I bet it’ll bring the cash rolling in!
It looks great! It looks like you have all of the important stuff in there! I agree with @katharina, add your crystals and oil intentionally and I think that will be just fine!
Good luck and I hope it manifest quickly for you!
It’s gorgeous, I love this. ![]()
@underwaxingmoon it is very balanced and symmetrical covering the elements and also The Wheel of the Year. Wishing you success with your money bowl ![]()

thank you so much! that means alot! ![]()
Looking good, looking good!
Have you ever tried making money rice? It’s really fun , but very time consuming. But still fun. ![]()
i have not! i haven’t heard of it actually.
do you have a link or a recipe, should i say?
I love making green rice and now I´m curious to learn how you are making it, if you´d like to share.
I will simply put my rice into a plastic bag, add a few spoons of vinegar and some food coloring. I will then knead the bag until all the rice is covered with food coloring and let it sit to soak it all up.
I will then put it on some paper towel to dry for a day or two and store it in a jar.
Here I have a mix of two batches, where the color was slightly different and I like this so much.
I will always put such a small silica bag into my rice jar to prevent it from going moldy. I mean, it never did, it´s just to make sure nothing happens, because honestly I don´t use it that much. It´s a good reminder to put it to use more.
AND you could also make the rice in ALL the rainbow colours and it can be an abundance rice (you know blue for health, green for prosperity, pink or red for love, orange for success…) and look cute on your altar at the same time.

I honest to God, just put my dry rice into a cookie sheet lined with foil, and added my food coloring, andixed and mixed and mixed. Then if let it dry out like in the oven, on low, and then mix and mix and mix , and repeat until the food coloring finally stuck to the dried rice and was not sticky or clumpy. I did add extra dried herbs, (well I used Italian seasoning because he had all the things I wanted to use) and I also added gold glitter, as well as green glitter, and shredded fake money, even though I know it’s better to use real money, I refuse to shred real money! I only introduce real money when it comes down to throwing it together. But they do have some people who will shred $5, $10, $20- $100 bills and add it to their money rice. Not me.. not this girl… I understand the spiritual aspects of it , but ain’t no way I could do that. I’d have to be 200% off my rocker to do such a thing. ![]()
Not knocking the people who do curate their money rice this way,I’m sure their money rice is so powerful, it’s knock your wig off, but I just personally couldn’t do it.
5 dollars is the most I could shred
