Wow! That would be amazing to see!
I harvested some garlic and fun putting it into bundles.
The soft necked garlic is drying before I attempt to braid them.
@Ostara i am sorry you lost more trees.
How do you keep that much garlic “”fresh” without it going bad before you use it? Lately I’ve been having issues with my store bought garlic going bad
The store bought garlic may be getting old before you get dnd maybe nothing you can do there. Garlic should be stored in a cool dry place- so not in the fridge. Do you have the garlic in a wire basket?
What a fantastic harvest!! Are all your garlic soft neck or did you grow hard neck as well?
These ones were hard necked so I didn’t bother braiding them. Too much work.
The soft necked ones are drying out a bit before I attempt braiding them
Makes sense! But now I need to know, where do you order your hard neck garlic?
I’m trying to plant for fall already.
So far I have just picked it up from Canadian Tire.
Oh how crazy, I wouldn’t have thought of that. I’ll have to look at our local feed and farm stores. Thank you!
No it sits in a bowl in my kitchen cupboard where I also store the potatoes and onions. Would a wire basket help?
A wire basket would keep the garlic drier and that is supposed to help.
Ok. Thank you! I will pick up a small wire basket at the dollar store!
I just received my free seed catalog! They have instructions on gardening, beautiful pictures of flowers, info on local plants, and herb seeds. In case anyone is interested:
Um, I can’t tell if the writing is clear, so if anyone needs the info, let me know, and I’ll post it.
I liked having these around in winter in Indiana. The pics of flowers were always so wonderful to see during snow days!
Wanted to share the pics of the baby chipmunk. They were coming right up to me in the chair.
Took a while to share em with my stuff going one.
Oh what a little cutie! just wanna kiss his whole little face!
Awwww Chipmunks are the best!!!
@crystal59 @Mystique they are pretty cute lol
How precious @Satans_Helper! Thank you for sharing. I don’t think we have chipmunks in Texas!
@Phoenix_Rose your garlic is beautiful!!! I’m trying to look on the bright side about the trees. I just may start a huge garden next year. I won’t have to worry about it being too shady. Lol!
Thanks babe glad you like them
