Magick Gardens Two

Thank you Nixi. It was a struggle to keep it alive through our hot dry summer. It perked up good after the little bit of rain we had.

After a long hot drought of a summer my herbs have really perked up. I had caterpillars eat all the leaves off my rue plant, but now it’s growing new leaves. My Mexican tarragon has really perked up too. I think this week will be harvest season again in Texas. Lol! :herb:

Woohooo- the more herbs, the better! :raised_hands: :herb:

There’s not too much left in our garden here- the first touches of winter are already taking hold and things are fading fast. It’s really nice to see your happy plants and flowers- they look beautiful, Ostara! :bouquet:

We have had a mild Fall this year. Yesterday I noticed a plant in the field. It’s a sunflower. It’s supposed to get cold tonight. Should I cover it? It would be so cool to have a sunflower for Yule. Lol!

Hi Ostara,

Having a sunflower :sunflower: for Yule would be awesome! We have strange weather here in Colorado 70 degrees one day and 40 the next. I’ve had several sunflowers snowed on, and they are usually okay unless they are just seedlings. I probably wouldn’t cover it unless you are expecting it to freeze. On the other hand, it would be fine to cover if you want to! :hugs:

Wishing you a Happy Sunflower kind of Yule!

It’s supposed to be 32 tonight. At the moment it’s 75. I think I will leave it alone. They won’t be snowed on. Lol! :sunflower: :snowflake:
