May Lenormand 2026 - Play Time!

Wow!!! Did an AI tarot pull (do everyday, to get insight on my husbands mental state"), question was, How do I deal with today, what will I be facing?

Well, the AI pull said pretty much what I said…

“ground yourself, nurture your projects, and stay rooted in your abundance.” (copied from the AI site).

Wow, the same thing…focus on myself today, and let everything else…float on by.

Wow, just been looking this over…was trying to decide if I am gonna cut my hair (different style from last 50 years…all my life, basically)…

re-reading all this stuff, and things I have been “seeing” in my tarot cards…I think I should do it!!! Everything has been telling me to “take a leap”, “step out”, “do not be afraid”…maybe this is just as simple as a haircut (at age 61 is a different hair cut since 1978…why am I fearful…I know…if I don’t like it takes tooooo long to grow out)…but…like in “Nothing to Lose”…“I do it!!”

Please yourself. It really will grow back if it isn’t what you want.

I didn’t connect with the questions this time, either from doing something like it recently or the question not as applicable to me (retired).

Deck: Beginner (Etsy)

  • Tower is the main character in today’s story
  • Lilies are the tension or complication that enters the scene
  • Moon is how the situation resolves or transforms

A rigid soul meets a gentle, ancestral influence and transforms into someone guided by structure, intuition, creativity, and emotional clarity.

This would be easy to expand on. I was, in my mind, plugging into the story arcs of the dozens of PNR books I’m always reading.

My draw today is from the Art deck.

Clover: luck, happiness, fate’s gift, expectation

Fish: finances, welfare, generosity, rewards, flow, abundance

Ring: promise, dedication, commitment, responsibility

I’ll use a general Narrative format for this draw and question.

This is a generally very positive draw. The question seems so odd because I’ve been looking around my studio “work space” lately thinking of ways to make it work better for me. I’ve not made many changes since moving here nearly 4 years ago and just dragging in my drafting table and art storage cabinets.

Clover card is positive but not particularly pointing to anything here. Ring card points to my commitment to my art, and it can feel like actual art time gets lost if I get too sidetracked on designing a perfect studio. However, it hasn’t felt comfortable in awhile, and I should acknowledge that.

Fish card is also positive, reminding me that I do have money to spend if I must to get everything arranged better. For the immediate future, I’ll continue to go with the flow while waiting for more concrete solutions to appear.

Reflection: An annoying question and draw today: I usually walk away with some clarity but not today. I did look around the studio while typing this, and spent time seeing what was definitely not going to work, so still at square one. bah!

Super Sunday All,

Actually Dan, I had a hard time trying to explain what I wanted, but the lady did it EXACTLY as I had envisioned it. Happy Mother’s Day to me…:musical_notes:

Congrats, @leilani1 ! I am a guy and have never worried about it (a guy) but the SO is particular and I understand it is an issue worth worrying about. Glad it worked out!

My draw today is from the Art deck.

Bouquet: gift, happiness, gratitude, success, beauty

Man: will, the male gender, masculinity, left side of the brain

Child: childhood, trust, a new stage, innocence

I’ll take a general Narrative format here.

What I need today is continued patience, not a tool. No tool or tangible object comes to mind during this time of year, because what I am really focused on is getting outside to get my garden going and shaped into summertime configuration. I’ve not been able to do it because of an extended cold Spring this year, which means no planting anything small and tender.

Bouquet speaks here to the beautiful visions I’m carrying of what to do and where to do it, and the Man card is the planning side of my brain that works out the steps, and the Child card speaks to my impatience and temptation to throw caution to the wind and just do it all anyway.

Reflection: So it seems that what I must do is busy myself in a way that somehow moves this forward while learning ongoing patience, because I have already learned not to argue with Nature. I am reminded that we had an extended warm Fall last year and my garden extended long past the expected time. She is asking for my patience this year and maybe she’ll do that again. :herb: :sunflower:

Coffin, Bouquet, Star: Narrative

I need to clear an outdated habit (Coffin), replace it with a simple elegant practice (B), and aim it toward a long‑term skill I want to master.(S)

I’m interpreting this as a physical skill or habit.

I’m always messing around with new stuff and we just got rid of one set of skills I stopped using (welding) by selling off all the equipment. So now I need to look for something to fill the void. I get to go shopping!

BTW: Happy Mother’s Day (belated but that’s me)

My draw today is from the Art deck.

Bear: strength, power, greatness, responsibility, protection

Ring: promise, commitment, union, responsibility

Tower: protection, permanence, isolation, institution, stability

I’ll use a general Narrative format here.

Hmm. Another question to be mentally modified, I think. This is an interesting draw to me - two of the cards both speak to responsibility and to protection. Once again, because my garden and outdoor projects are forefront in my mind these days, I can’t say my routine needs refreshing to work better for me now - but the weather pattern needs to shift for me.

I have an established spring/summer routine of tending things I’ve planted. I feel like I am out of whack with this routine because I have yet to get things started. The Bear and Ring cards point to responsibility, and the Tower and Bear both point to protection. These are gardener’s keywords!

Reflection: As we approach the middle of May, I am still waiting and prepping things as best the weather will allow, so I can pounce when it looks like the Earth is ready to receive.

This year, we did something different - usually we drag it out and are still wishing we planted some things but August was on us. The SO contracted for a service to come in and clear out the old stuff and plant new. I think we got off pretty cheaply. We definitely didn’t save but we didn’t feel like we overspent either. She still gets to tend what we did and that works.

I agree with the need to change the wording or intent on questions occasionally.

Terrific Tuesday,
Lenormand for today–What routine needs refreshing? 25 Ring; 1 Rider; 34 Fish.

This reading seems to say 2 possible things. I don’t have much of a “routine” except my wake-up “schedule”, seems to be between 3-5 am. The 2 different scenarios that these cards may be referring to, are not routine, something new started this week-end, and something new just happened yesterday.

I think this draw, for both ideas in question, basically means that the cards are telling me (Rider) that there will be a positive outcome (Ring), and here is where the confusion comes in…is it about a “flowing connection” (with my husband, a good change happened yesterday), or does it have to do with $? (not details, but yeah, we are having some anxiety over here [not in an immediate, like “losing-the-house”], don’t worry all, it’s all okay).

So, a little confusion here. I will move to tarot, and see if this is clarified.

I try to link my readings - questions follow a pattern on both Tarot and Lenormand and sometimes it helps clarify … sometimes it fizzles but it is worth doing.

Morning Dan,

Well, it turns out that the Lenormand read and the Tarot reads were talking about the same thing, but not today’s questions.:upside_down_face: My Lenormand and Tarot pulls for the last couple days will not answer the questions for the “dailies’”…they seem to be very specific for the situation here at home.

Deck: Yellowrock (Skinwalker). In progress. A themed deck based on the Jane Yellowrock book series. Pictures are AI. The deck will have more spiritual/dark content but also use the standard definitions. Check the drop down for examples.

Keywords from the manual

Scythe
Keywords: cut, danger, decisive action Logic: Jane’s combat style is swift, surgical, and lethal.

Coffin
Keywords: endings, loss, transformation Logic: Jane’s early cases revolve around death magic and its consequences.

Rider
Keywords: news, arrival, action, momentum Logic: Jane is literally the bringer of movement, messages, and change.

The choice today is select something to cut, let it end fully, and step into the new impulse that rushes in.

This is spiritual and I’ve been working on cutting out past issues in my earlier life that have stayed with me too long. I was meditating on this last night. It is still private but I have skirted around it with both Tarot and Lenormand for a while now. I’m not sure I will ever be able to let the issue(s) die fully but just facing them helps.

My draw today is from the Art deck.

House: home, family, domestic matters, stability, protection

Key: opening or closing, solutions, revelations, new beginnings, opportunities

Clouds: doubt, confusion, a tangled situation

I like a general Narrative format here.

The card draw today is still in alignment with what’s foremost in my mind: getting on with my outdoor life. I have to chuckle at seeing the Cloud card since today I can take it literally. I have no confusion here or anything that needs lifting other than the freaking cloud cover outside!

The Key card is my friend today: in one of my Lenormand keyword books, in matters of well-being the Key indicates empowerment, awareness, and the development of talents. These are lovely mindsets that usually accompany me when I am outside working in the garden.

The House card ties it all together.

Reflection: this is all going to be realized within the next few days. Gaia is clearly testing me this Spring: everything out my window is so green and lush under the gray skies and chilly nights.

Deck: Yellowrock. Pictures are AI.

Short Summary of the Deck

Deck is in progress. It is a themed deck using books 1-3 of the Jane Yellowrock series. It is more spiritual but I wanted to use it cuz I just completed 36 cards and need to edit them.

Longer book summary

Jane Yellowrock is a Cherokee skinwalker who can shift into any creature and shares her body with the soul of a mountain lion, and across the series she evolves from a solitary, motorcycle‑riding vampire hunter into a central force in the tangled politics of vampires, witches, weres, and ancient beings. What begins as straightforward contracts to eliminate rogue vampires in New Orleans quickly expands into battles against resurrected horrors, territorial wars, magical conspiracies, and revelations about her own lost past. As Jane navigates shifting alliances, moral dilemmas, and the constant tension between her human ethics and Beast’s predatory instincts, she becomes both protector and disruptor in a supernatural world where every victory reshapes the balance of power.

Scythe, Anchor, Bouquet. Format Narrative. The Scythe card is a re-imagined cover art (one other in the deck). When there are readable scrolls, letters, or contracts in the deck picture, they are salient to the theme of the deck

I need to cut one inefficient habit, stabilize one core technique, and add one elegant flourish that makes the work feel rewarding.

This possibly is about the actual deck construction. In the past, I never made much of an outline but this time, before I started, I created a manual first and as I went along, I edited the manual. This sounds like it might be inefficient but it actually saved time as opposed to making something out of the blue and then remaking later to get the balance.

The spiritual side of the deck isn’t showing in this draw (except maybe for the first card).

Thankful Thursday Thought Provokers,

Lenormand Today - Where will I find peace today? 7 Snake; 29 Woman; 16 Stars.

Knowing to trust myself (29) with what I have learned (16) so as not to be influenced by any deception (7) today.

I don’t necessarily need to be on guard, however, do not second guess myself, trust my instincts so that I will not be “played”. Basically, “if it’s too good to be true…”
