Merry Meet from a Newish Witch!

Hello! I’m Kasie, otherwise known as Amejisuto around the web. I go by either. I’ve been into paganism for years, my Mom got me my first book, but because I was working and then my Mom was sick I never really practiced. Now I’m finally on my own and can start to practice what I’ve read. I still consider myself a baby witch though. I’m looking forward to learning here! Hope to get to know y’all soon.

Hello @Amethyst!! Welcome to the Forum! :sparkles:

I also learned from my mom when I was very young! She had lots of books about spirituality and healing! Are there any books that you still have with you?

Feel free to explore the Forum and comment on any topic. If you have any questions, feel free to ask anything or share a topic of your own!

Also, I recommend you visit the Online Courses page and follow the video lessons!

Blessed be! :dizzy:

My Mom got me a witchcraft book she saw on Good Morning America about supermarket witchery. I still have it. She wasn’t pagan though, she was Methodist. She thought of me and my search for spirituality though and thought that paganism could be for me. She was right, as most Moms are. LOL.

I’ll be poking around the online courses some over the next week. Its getting too late for me to be up. I’m an early bird. Hope you have a good night!

Blessed Be!

I have a book on Supermarket Magic! I think it’s neat because finding all the weird ingredients in old-school spells can be really hard. I like the more down-to-earth approach of using what is at hand. :raised_hand_with_fingers_splayed:

A very warm welcome to you, @Amethyst! :two_hearts: We are happy and blessed to have you here

I think it’s wonderful that your mother was so supportive of your spirituality! I’m very curious about supermarket witchery- did the book have any good spells or recipes that you would recommend? :open_book: I’m very curious!

Like @Francisco shared, Spells8 has a grand variety of resources available on the website! If you’re like me and love to get lost in educational videos on YouTube, I highly recommend the Spells8 YouTube Channel. There’s a lot of information- check a few topics and see if there’s a particular area of magickal studies that calls out to you!

Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have- it is a pleasure to meet you! :sparkling_heart:

There isn’t any metaphysical stores near me, so if I can’t get it off Amazon or from Kroger’s, I’m out of luck. So yeah, supermarket magic is up my alley. LOL.

It has some spells that are good, like getting rid of the nighttime boogeyman with sea salt and spring water. But then there’s spells in it to break up a relationship or do an exorcism with a broom that i just think either isn’t a good idea, like with relationship one, or with a full ritual. But that’s just me.

Actually I found the Spell8 YouTube before I found this site, that’s how I got here. I quite enjoy the video content.

Where do I go to ask questions? One of the reasons I joined is I wanted to do that uncrossing spell with the bay leaves but I have some questions about it.

Thanks for the warm welcome! And for the help!
