That happened here too. It killed my irises, lillies and lilac bush. They were all from my mom’s garden too 
It seems the seasons have shifted in my opinion year. Years ago March and April were in the 60s and 70s and now it seems in the 40s.
@Sivonnah , yup. Gonna snow for the next couple days it looks like. Got about 6 inches right now.
Yes, it finally stopped really early this morning. I couldn’t get out of my front door this morning and had to go through the basement around into the garage 
and then my fiance and I had to shovel our long driveway so he could get out tomorrow to go to work! I have a lifted Jeep Wrangler with 4WD so I’m good, but he doesn’t have that

she’s not too heartbroken over it because she understands that the weather wasn’t the greatest. I mean, I had to drive under 35mph all the way there and home because the roads were disappeared under all the snow lol the plows couldn’t keep up!
