Thank you so much everyone and congratulations Dan for sharing the most posts! I will read everyone’s messages tomorrow! I have my overnight sleep study tonight, so I haven’t been online very much today! Blessed Be, my friends!

I hope that your sleep study went well and that you get all the goo out of your hair!

More like sticky paste! Ugh. That was an experience. Such a chore getting it out of my hair without going bald. I know I have a severe case of OSA and will of course need a mask but me and said mask will never get along! I tried three last night! I am so exhausted today. I am glad that is over.

Thank you, sis!! You rock as well! :sparkling_heart:

I’m so sorry love that you came home to that! I hope everything works out in your favor!

I feel you on this one! The last week or so has been so hectic! It’s like, can we just get a breather already!

I have every confidence that you will get through anything the teacher throws at you! You’re a tough cookie!

So happy to read this!! Yay indeed!

Thank you, beautiful!

The rest of this week will be uneventful, I hope! I’m looking forward to the weekend!

ME too!! I just want to relax, drink tea, listen to the birds, gaze at the night sky, and get some decent sleep!

How did you get it all out? Because I have to do this in the future, and I’m thinking of getting a small bottle of Goo Gone. That stuff stinks to high heaven, though, and I have no idea if it would be safe for hair.

They say masks are getting easier to wear. But there is an implant you can get if you absolutly can’t stand the mask. I don’t know much about it, but here’s a link to it:

Inspire Sleep Apnea Implant

Sleep Apnea Implant

I mean, yeah, that would be a pain. But not as much as those masks!

The tech told me to shower with the hottest water I could stand, and the paste would melt off. It did ā€œmeltā€ a little, but I still had to scrub really good with shampoo and use a leave in and rinse deep conditioner in order to get the snarls out. The guy really tangled up my hair!

How did you get it all out?

Thanks, love, I’ll take a look, but I bet something like that would be expensive over here. I’m sure my Medi-Cal wouldn’t cover it. I hope they are able to cover any device I get otherwise I won’t be wearing one. I took a nap earlier so I’m feeling a little more alive lol.

Yeah, my hair snarls as it is. I am not looking forward to this. Oh well, needs must.

From what my Dr said, if I try a few masks and it doesn’t work, then an implant can be put in, and insurance will cover it because I tried the others. It might not be the name-brand Inspire implant, but they have other types that can help too.

But then again, I have Medicaid through WV, and I’m on the program that lets me have a worker. It might be different than you.

The electrician(s) are here at last! The main one is the owner of the company and is a Master electrician. He is great - it’s apparently difficult to move up in one’s career as an electrician, unless you have been mentored to become a Journeyman, and he hires at least 1-2 young guys (this one looks about 12 - I’m getting old!) as needed, to get them going through their programs.

Anyway - I hear drilling below me in the basement, where they’re installing two (!) new outlets for me so I can have lights closer to my washer and dryer! (I really dislike laundry on a good day, but working in the semi-gloom does not help.)

Then they’ll do some other weird stuff around the main panel, though he said it’s basically in fine shape. Then the ceiling vintage light fixtures here on the main floor and also a new outlet box here in my art room, where a plug can barely stay in, and then upstairs to do a ceiling medallion behind a new ceiling fan, 2 new sconce lights and try to fix another light in the bathroom that cut out.

They say about 6 hours, so my cats will be traumatized by having nowhere to hide, and I will be mentally exhausted - and poorer. But it will all be done - yay!!

I hope you and the cats have survived! I’m glad you’ve got it done, though. That must feel good!

Is it Friday already? I have a lot of catching up to do with the forum!

My foot is finally better. It only hurts sometimes, which is better than all the time. I didn’t realize how much energy pain takes from your body! Now that it’s better, I have a lot of work to do around the house and yard.

My herb garden/flower bed has gone insane. Last August I had planted some mug wart (at least that’s what it said on the plant tag). It has gone insane! I looked it up with a plant app, and turns out it’s called white sage brush. It spreads very fast, so I have to clean most of it out of the flower bed and put it somewhere else.

Yesterday hubby bought a tiller, a BIG tiller. So it looks like we are going to have a vegetable garden this summer too. I can’t wait to be outside in the 100 degree Texas heat pulling weeds from a garden this summer!

I’m going to come back on here in a little white and catch up with everybody!

@Feathertip I hope your kitties and your mental health are holding up! I’ve been thinking of you every time I turn my bathroom light on and it flickers!

You’ll be tying smoke sticks for a while! Good. Maybe that’s what you needed. Still not happy with the misnomer.

Dripping sarcasm.

Missed you!

@georgia it has medicinal properties and you can make smudge sticks out of it, but it’s different from white sage.

I wore myself out getting the black berry bushes out of the flowerbed. My rosemary has gone nuts too. I have 2 bushes and they are huge. Looks like I’m going to be doing a lot of harvesting in the few weeks

@Ostara: Growing rosemary outside in Texas brings a lot of glorious rosemary! Enjoy that harvest!

We survived! And it didn’t cost as much as I feared, so it’s all good. I’ll post pics later of the lights!

Trust me, no one needs this much rosemary!

It always hurts to have to compost a perfectly good batch of herbs, doesn’t it?

I use mine in my simmer pots, and over roasted potatoes, in soups, stews, and whenever I roast a chicken or turkey - that’s all I can come up with off the top of my head. Never tried to dry any.

Good luck with your abundance!
