Congrats on the shout-outs, my friends! The Coven is blessed to have you here sharing your wisdom and humor. You rock!!

Welcome to you all - we’re so happy you decided to join us!

I’m finally going to have my electrical projects done this week. The electrician came by over the weekend, ostensibly to just give us a quote, but he ended up walking through the whole house and also stepping outside to look at our connections. I felt like I’d been given a mini-home inspection and it was wonderful! I’m sure he sees a lot of these circa-1950 bungalows that need a lot of upgrades or retro-fitting, but thankfully ours passed muster except for some of the outlets and fixtures that were already on our to-do list.

Anyway - that’s the extent of my excitement. I’m looking forward to getting the new ceiling lights installed because of couple of them are quite vintage and should look amazing. The boring stuff will get done, too, but it’s all about the fun stuff for me.

I hope everyone has a lovely week - it’s the last full week of March already - I can hardly believe how fast it seems to have gone by! March can be a looooong slog while we wait for the warmth! Blessings to you all! :feather:

:tada: Congratulations on the shout-outs :tada: and thank you both for your contributions to the forum. :folded_hands:t2: :pink_heart:

It’s been a heck of a week (already :joy:). I unexpectedly ended up being the only one in for the morning cat care shift this morning but got done before Adoptions opened :tada: then came home and within 30 minutes discovered that there’s a water leak at a hose bib inside the foundation and our sealed crawl space has standing water on top of the plastic and mud underneath sooooo - this derails my day as we figure out emergency steps to cap the line (so that we can turn our water back on and byspass the leak) while I work on getting a plumber out this week to fix it.

Likely won’t get a chance to do much of anything for the challenge, but I’ll try to post what my idea was. Most of last week got eaten up by working on the tax binder to give to our accountant and a survey to send to the estate attorneys. I bought a whole bunch of garden dirt for my raised gardens and have plans to garden today, but that is not meant to be

Wishing everyone a safe, calm and productive start to their week! :pink_heart:

Congratulations absolutely fabulous :star_struck:

@Feathertip I’m glad it passed, now you can enjoy the things you love doing. It’ll be warm soon.

@Artemisia oh dear, I hope it all goes to plan for reasonable cost. :grimacing:

My rune studies are  difficult, challenging, unexpectedly heading in a direction I didn’t want to go but hey what’s new there :person_shrugging::rofl: My homework list is:

Learn old Norse - never gonna happen

Go through at least 1 year of initiation that involves the closed practice side of runes known as the silent period - umm  has he met me, I talk, talk talk talk

Then at least 3 UtiSeta (sitting out) where I sit under a tree, or a mound or a cemetery, in the middle of nowhere from sunset to sunrise to receive visions. I’ve done 1 hour and something grabbed my hand (quite normal in these UtiSetas apparently) but I s***t myself, packed up my stuff and legged it :flushed_face:

Oh dear, it’s a laugh and I’m sure I’ll get there, but I don’t think my mentors too impressed when I tell him that before I’m sitting out anywhere, I’m absolutely checking for spiders. :spider::spider::spider:

Have a lovely week.

Congratulations on the shout outs guys! Awesome work!

Oh, no - nononono!!! I feel your pain! Hopefully you can get someone out there quickly since it’s inside the foundation. Gah!! What a way to start the week. WIshing you best of luck with getting it fixed quickly! Hang in there.

Whoa!!! I’d be trekking out of there quickly, too! It all sounds like it could be quite lovely but - it’s all good fun until something unseen grabs you by the hand. :open_mouth:

It all sounds magickal and challenging and kinda freaky at the same time! I’m not sure I could do it. You’re awesome!

You can do it, I’ll get used to the spirits physical touches with practice, but I’m just a chicken with the bugs

Congratulations @dan3 and @Eira_of_the_Living_Hearth!

@Feathertip I feel you with the electrical thing. I think my house was built in the 1940’s. The electric is a little wonky. Especially in the bathroom when I’m straightening my hair.

@Artemisia, good luck with that water leak. It sounds like a nightmare.

@tracyS from sun up to sun down? I would lay down in the grass and go to sleep. Well, not in Texas. We have fire ants. If we someone laying on the grass, we know they aren’t from Texas and they learn their lesson pretty quick!

I hope everyone has a beautiful, magickal week!

Fire ants! Oh my, you can tell it’s a Northern Europe tradition, wouldn’t do 5 minutes with fire ants

Congratulations to @dan3 and @Eira_of_the_Living_Hearth! Y’all are rocking it!

Speaking of rocking it, did y’all know that the moon got a massive new crater?

Yay! I’m glad you got good advice and that you’re getting your home projects done! You’ll have to show us your vintage lights! And yeah, this year is already going by way too fast! It makes the wait between paydays better, but sheesh!

Good gads! Here I thought my Monday morning started out sucky. Hope things get better for you, love!

Wow, that does not sound fun. And I don’t blame you for running. But I’m sure you’ll get there! And yeah, defiantly check for spiders and any other prank type animals around. Do they have fire ants over there? Love the scardy cat gif!

I look forward to seeing you this Thursday!

Man, I should have read ahead, shouldn’t I?

Well, I woke up early this morning and the power was out. But I had to go to the doctor so I couldn’t go to back to bed. So that was a fun morning. My radio gets cruddy reception here, so I need to get a new one. It was supposed to be mild today so I went out without my coat.

By the time I got home, it was drizzling and 35. It wasn’t supposed to be that cold all day today! So I went out without my coat. Oh well, hopefully I wasn’t out in it long enough to catch a chill. I got discharged from one of my many doctors. Not one I was worried about anything, but still, it was nice to know I don’t have to go back! My boo-boos on my feet are better too, so yay!

No big plans for me this week. I’m gonna be boring. I’m even way ahead for my recipes for next week! I’m on a roll!

Hope everyone has a good week!

We had them in Georgia, too! Ant hills nearly a foot high sometimes, and hard to get rid of! :ant:

I like these tiny little black ants here up North - not nearly as intimidating as a fire ant. You always knew when one was biting. :open_mouth:

I will! I’m so sick of looking at them in their boxes. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Congrats on getting discharged from another doctor - and I’m glad to hear your feet are better!

Stay warm out there - it was spitting snow earlier when we were running errands and I went for my big fat coat. It’s still March!

I bought a celing fan about, three? Yeah, three years ago. I need to ask for them to put it up again. They say they will, but it never happens. I’m not even sure if they will now that building manager moved up and her hubby moved into her spot. He might be more willing to follow the rules now.

Or he may want to get punished, who knows?

Thanks, love! I’m hoping my feet won’t be this big thing, since I went early and got it nipped in the bud.

And stop saying four letter words! The S word is not allowed! LOL!

Congratulations!

Yay! Enjoy the upgrades!

Good hunting! Glad you found it before there was too much damage.

Sounds like an intense learning curve. Give it a little bit of a try, even if you aren’t perfect at your homework. Better that they grabbed your hand and not something else! I’d freak, too, the first time. The second time, I might try to stay a bit longer to see what they might have to say. What would happen if you acknowledged the touch aloud and admitted your feelings before reacting? I’m curious that way.

And if astronauts need that kind of protection on the moon, they’d better take it with them to Mars as well! We really don’t know what could happen so far from home.

So happy to hear you’re healing in several areas!

Do you realize how many four letter words are out there? :ogre: The F word could be feet! Just thought I’d torment a bit. S could be star. I’ll give you a four letter H word: multiple :people_hugging::people_hugging::people_hugging:!
