I can’t wait to be outside in the 100 degree Texas heat pulling weeds from a garden this summer!

I wore myself out getting the black berry bushes out of the flowerbed

Oh you have that too? I wish it would grow somewhere that I could just keep it and enjoy the blackberries, instead of through the flower beds. My knees are making it very difficult to get out in that back border and pull them out, so thankfully Eric had a go today, while I tidied up the herb bed.

I can’t squat because of my foot, so I had to flop my butt on the ground. It wasn’t hard going down, it was the getting up that was hard. I think my daughter Stella saw for the first time that mom is getting old!
