Merry Meet Monday - Witchy News of the Week! (Sep 11 - 17) šŸŒ‘

Thank you, @Solasta_Amore and @tracyS. :black_heart: Your reminders for me to take care of myself helped motivate me to just get it done.

I took your advice and did this in the morning. I wrote it up to share, for the curious as well, A Power & Energy Retrieval Ritual

It was more than I can do daily, but I will practice something easier more regularly. I have a short daily protective meditation I can get back into that involves the six princes and goddess that I’ll start with.

@starborn For a quick protection and then recharge I was given a lovely tip by my reiki healer. First carry a big chunk of tourmaline (it’s a big chunk) to absorb that draining energy (it works, I work in care and am drained daily, but I don’t feel over exhausted), then obviously charge it each night (poor crystal is working overtime ).
Second, every night I do a Shadeweaver (sorry @Shadeweaver that’s what I call it now), I grab a cuppa , whatever your fancy, and take me shoes n socks off, sit outside, feet on the grass, regardless of the weather (my neighbours think I’m barmy, I did it today and it’s chucking it down, but I did ask Odin yesterday, to send Thor, so I’m not going to moan ). It’s 5 minutes outside, and it gets rid of all the stress and recharges you. (You may want a brolly if it’s raining, unless your good with drinking rainwater tea :person_facepalming:) but it’s lovely, simple, quick and uncomplicated.

Thought I’d share. Big hugs. :sparkling_heart::kissing_heart:

Can I carry multiple smaller chunks instead? :joy: I have like 6 ~3cm chunks.

Ok, this is going to sound weird, but… I don’t have easy access to grass. :grimacing: I would have to walk a few blocks to a park.

That being said, my new apartment building will have its own gardens and be right next to a park! I’m super excited!

Once I move, I will be able to do this, but not until then.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Congratulations to you two! I’ve enjoyed reading your posts, @starborn – you have been having some great conversations, and I’m happy to have you here! @crystal59 – the hearts you’re giving out are much appreciated - I’m happy to have you here, too!

My week is pretty busy, I suppose. I mean… it always is, but we’ve made a big decision as a family and now we have so much to do in a very short amount of time! And I’m still trying to do all of my own stuff, as usual! I think videos and my YouTube channel are going to have to take a backseat soon, but I’ll just have to play it by ear.

I have a really important interview on Thursday that’s making me pretty freakin’ nervous, but I know as soon as it’s over, I’ll feel much better :joy: and then I’ll be doing it all over again when I have my next guest!

Hi sweet friends!

I M trying to get back into my normal posting habits… it’s been whirlwind crazy around here! I have been sick with Covid (I guess it’s the new teacher ailment) and now an upper respiratory infection. I started antibiotics today. I was so struck yesterday by how amazing it is that I can video chat with my doctor and have medicine almost instantly. The privilege that occurs there is definitely not lost on me! I’m hoping to be up to speed soon!

The biggest news is that our house in the middle of nowhere now has high doors internet! We can stream and zoom and upload and download and it is so fast! I am absolutely giddy! I will definitely be catching up with everyone over the next little bit! I’ve missed you all so much!

Oh no, @AileyGrey – I’m so sorry you’ve been sick, especially with Covid! It’s horrible that it’s basically become the norm… at least you’ve got medicine now and you’re on the way to feeling better!

And hooray for good internet! I know how much of a help that is. It seems almost necessary that we all have high-speed internet these days.

It’s like magic… you just click the link… and it works! It’s been a long time coming for sure! I watched netflix in my bed yesterday! I’ve never, ever done that! Then I was so overwhelmed with choices that I watched reruns of something I’ve seen over and over! Eek! It’s definitely so nice!

The first night I got overwhelmed! I just couldn’t even begin to pick something! I’m going to work on making a list this weekend!

Have fun! Maybe use one of those random number generators to help you pick.

Another week that has gone by so fast, it’s just a blur. Tomorrow I’m going to do some fall cleaning. I may leave the cob webs in the corners for Samhain. My reward to myself when I am done is creating my Mabon altar!

It rained yesterday and it’s about to rain again thank the Gods!!! The poor animals and plants have really been suffering with the heat and drought, but fall is upon us. The high today was 89 and that’s really cool compared to 105 and a heat index of 115.

I hope everyone had a wonderful week! Have a blessed weekend!

Hooray for the rain! :sun_behind_rain_cloud: I’m so glad you’re getting rain now - I’m sure your plants could do with all the water!
