I have always been drawn to the Moon. And would love to share my photos I taken over
this summer, 2026.

What camera and lens do you use for your non-cell phone shots?

Sorry, still learning. Work in progress, take 2. All pictures are directly off my Samsung Galaxy S26, no lens, no nothing.It’s amazing how far technology has come. Or, what was given back to us if you believe the Tartaria theory. Just let me know what I have to do and I promise I will pick up as soon as possible.
Oh, thank you for clarifying that for me! They are really good! I might have to pay more attention to the settings since I have this same phone. It does great in the daylight hours but not nighttime shots.
No worries - Bry or another moderator will move your thread and advise you on the best place for your pictures. 
The phones now zoom into 100%. it’s amazing what you can pick up. I have so many pictures from the forest, from the mountains, from just walking trails, you name it, that these phones. I used to have to pay thousands camers and telescopes, and equipment.Now you just need a cell phone, and zooming in zoom out it’s amazing. Galaxies are my favorite. I had an iPhone, but I wasn’t a fan. I have some down time at work is giving me time while my client sleeps to try to figure out the board a little bit more. and there’s my pictures, and be on the right page and I’m addicted to the spells; I’ve always been fascinated and I can’t wait to deep dive in step into that realm.Thank you for all the help and kind words, and I cannot wait to deep dive into this community.

You know, I haven’t really considered any of that! I tend to take more advantage of the “zoom” use of my phone - I got it last year, it’s a Galaxy S25 Ultra. Looks like I’ll have to play with my nighttime settings, too.

You have captured the Moon beautifully, each photograph is so different and I feel the change of each phase how I can describe it is a pull.
As you will have realised with my name Moonbeam we seem to have a lot in common. You are right the iPhone is not the best at taking photographs. I would love to see your photographs of this week’s eclipsing Full Moon.

Thank You Just you wait—as we speak, I can see it glowing right outside my window. It’s calling to me, and I can hardly wait for this Sturgeon Full Moon and partial eclipse! I’ll definitely be posting more pictures around midnight once I wrap up with my client.After that, I’m heading straight down by the river to sit under the moonlight, release heavy energy, reflect, and ask for guidance—either listening to sound frequencies or just tuning into the flow of the water.We’re definitely going to have a lot more great conversations ahead Moonbeam

Here’s tonight Moon photos only day away from the Sturgeon Full Moon partial eclipse. As of now I’m off after 4:00 p.m. so I will be out all night under the moonlight

Amazing photos! I’m envious that you have been able to get good moon photos with your phone
Mine all come out as washed out white blobs. I was able to get a couple of decent ones with my camera but it’s not easy.
I will be posting daily Moon pictures—especially during this Full Moon and eclipse! Sit back and enjoy the views. 
When I get some time this afternoon, I’m also going to start a Sun thread to share the sunrises and sunsets I’ve captured over the years (I take them practically every day! lol
