More shopping

The fabric for my tarot deck cover finally came and I just had to share. It’s basically a square yard so I’ll have to see what else I can come up with

@Ostara @Susurrus @MeganB @Amethyst @AileyGrey Thank you. I sort of forgot that my sewing machine is still out of commission :woman_facepalming:t2: Thanks brain damage  but that just means that I’ll have more time to come up with ideas

@Heav3n I can’t wait to see. I didn’t really think of doing it until you did. My husband humors me because I don’t have anyone else to show, but he can’t really appreciate it.
Shoot maybe I should post from my last shopping trip

Yay, I’ll do that as soon as little princess goes down for a nap. It will be as exciting as even it first got here. And I am so doing this from now on

You could always hand stitch it! It might be therapeutic!

@Assyla555 you asked me to let you know what I thought about this when I posted it the day I was waiting for packages.

It an awesome book. It has a nice feel and flow to it. At first I was upset about the style of the drawings but they really caught my 4 year old’s attention and my 8 month old Granddaughter was absolutely mesmerized. My 4 year old still likes books written as though you’re talking to a baby but one that has moved on might not, but the pictures and basic properties and real live connections might make it good for a little older. For the $8 price range, it’s worth a try for a variety of ages.

It covers Amethyst, Carnelian, Flortite, Hematite,Jade, Lapis Lazuli, Opal, Rose Quartz, Tigers Eye, and Turquoise. And the last page is pretty cool as a basic description.

This was the result of my husband’s hunt for Onyx for our 18 year old, no luck that trip but he kept finding ones that he knew where meant to be mine.

He also stopped at a shop that day and found the most beautiful quartz point for me. I had been looking for one with no luck but this one is exactly what I pictured when I was looking for one

This one is from a while back but it’s too perfect to not share

I’ll probably be posting in spurts. I have a lot of things tucked in here and there so my husband won’t necessarily see then right away.

Plus the number one rule on this house it “DO NOT WAKE THAT CHILD” He only just recently started sleeping 5 hours at a time and is currently asleep on my bed

Another good find.

This was supposed to be an inexpensive substitution for the quill I want but then I had to go and start adding accessories

That part I had sitting on my work space for almost 2 months before my husband noticed it

EDIT I just noticed that the color is a bit wonky in this picture. It’s actually a beautiful deep green.

This journal is going to be a 3 in 1 for right now. I plan to get a grey one for a new Tarot journal, and probably a brown one and maybe a purple one

I have a wee bit of a shopping problem lately. I’ve put myself on a spending freeze before my husband does it for me. He threatened to lock me out of Amazon
