My Friday night spellwork and my Frigga wand

So tonight while scrolling through the categories here on the forum I came across @MeganB 's See myself spell oil And since it is both a waxing crescent moon and a Friday night and I often struggle with loving my flaws I decided to give this a shot.
I only had 1 of the flowers that Megan used which was calendula so I cleansed my bottle and added calendula, crepe myrtle flowers (strength and stability), hibiscus, magnolia (calming anxiety), lilacs (increasing vibrations)And blue vervain (balance)

It sure is pretty to look at though

Editing to add:

I also made a new wand tonight. In honor of Frigg. It’s made of crepe myrtle wood because I read that crepe myrtle trees are symbols of strength and stability. I crocheted a wrap for the handle, add a quartz point and wire wrapped it, added a “love” charm and a :white_heart: charm with pink cord and I carved the symbol for “fehu” in the wood

I don’t know who you’ve been talking to, but to me, you’re Mary Poppins material! (Practically perfect in every way
Beautiful jar, by the way. Beautiful you.

So creative and smart. I am a very forgetful individual so i assume i will be learning about the meanings of flowers and other herbs for quite sometime. Good on you! :grinning:

This will sound naughty, but I don’t mean it as such.
Your wand is YOURS, I’ve seen very small pewter wands with a crystal or marble at one end, adorable. Then there’s the Harry Potter wand sets, but they are very large. Others are different types of wood, found in the forest and made by the potential user.
Size doesn’t matter, it’s how you use the wand. I have a selenite wand, about 6" long and a finger width wide. I rarely use it, so it’s just for show. I’m at the point of my practice that I don’t need a lot of tools but keep them at hand just in case I do.

I didn’t really make it for use @Garnet it was really just made kinda as an offering and because I like the meaning behind the crepe myrtle tree. I love the wand I made of muscadine Vine as it was the first wand I made when I started practicing but again it’s rather large and so is the one I made from yellow dock stems but I really only use them for casting my circle and taking it down

@christina4 the picture really doesn’t do it justice. I’m gonna try to get a better picture of it later.

@TheMuslimWitch I’m still learning all the meanings of plants myself. What helps me is I keep a binder with information on each herb that I have in my collection and as I get something new I research it and add a new page to my binder for it so I can easily thumb through and find ones that are similar to the intention I have set when I need them

You know, My mom used to embroider handkerchiefs and she would set them out like décor with a little note that said: “For show, not blow.”
Isn’t that funny? Sometimes I forget how funny she could be.

I didn’t leave notes but I let everyone know which towels were decorations only real fast. It’s just something I picked up from mama as a kid. The fancy towels are just for display the ratty bleached ones are for hands lol
