Hello! My name is Rena, and I’m very new to this. I am a country person, and I love nature, especially trees and flowers. I’ve always had an interest in magic but never really did any of it. Well here i am at 51 and want to start this spiritual journey. Any one that has some good advice i am welcoming you to share.

My name is Kat, and I’ve been practicing the craft for over 30 years. My practice is rooted in a blend of nature magick, green magick, and elements of hedgecraft. I work closely with the natural world, drawing inspiration from plant spirits, animal spirits, and liminal spaces. My interests include herbalism, gardening, and divinatory practices like tarot, throwing bones, and Lenormand.

It’s great to have you here! It’s never too late too learn. One of my biggest tips for new witches is to not run out and buy everything under the sun. Figure out what you are really going to need or want and then buy it. You may never really use an athame, or need a coffee mug instead of a chalice.
So yeah, save your money on what you’ll really need. And books. Books are always great!

Welcome @star-51 ! It’s great to have you with us Rena! I’m from Minnesota and have been practicing many different aspects of the craft for 35+ years. I currently work with voodoo, chaos magick and divination.
@jayne gave you some great advice! I would like to add, don’t worry about buying all kinds of tools and things right away. We have a virtual altar on here that you can use anytime. The tool I recommend the most is books to learn more about what interests you.
Don’t worry about changing your course of practice. Many of us have done that multiple times. Our interests change and grow.
