Eric and I are heading to to the cabin tomorrow. There’s no Wi-Fi but hopefully I’ll be able to get on 5G and check in through the week. Wishing everyone a blessed Samhain
Have a safe but fun trip and a wonderful Sabbat!
Have a wonderful time at the cabin, @Greenbriar! Take lots of pictures so we can all enjoy the beautiful nature vicariously through you

Safe travels and sabbat blessings! ![]()
Have a safe, fun trip. Happy Anniversary.
A blessed Samhain to you as well, my friend!
Safe travels, and have a wonderful time! I second @BryWisteria 's request for some pictures - the place looks gorgeous!
Have fun @Greenbriar! Enjoy the peace nature brings and I hope you have a blessed Sawhain!
We made it here safely and enjoyed our wine and crackers under the waxing crescent moon on the covered porch last night. Neither of us slept well which is usual for our first night, so we’re just going to relax today.
Here’s the view from our cabin to a little pond out back. From the front door we see horses grazing in the pasture.
I have a good 5G signal here so I will be able to check in. I’ll do the tarot journey later
Looks amazing!!! Relax and enjoy the beauty

Absolutely gorgeous! Glad it looks like the weather is cooperating with you, too. Seeing horses from one side of the house and the woods and pond out the other side is pretty wonderful!
Take a deep inhale for me!

Absolutely gorgeous! It feels peaceful and very serene. Perfect place to recharge your energy.
Here’s the view from the front porch.
We had a bit of rain earlier but we were able to do a daily devotional and meditation on the side porch, protected from the rain. It’s the first time Eric has joined me for those, which made it very special.
That is so beautiful! And wine and crackers under the stars, how romantic! I’m glad y’all are getting this time away.
Hello to your new equestrian friends!
What a beautiful view of the pasture, woods, and water. It looks like a slice of paradise there! I hope you and Eric continue to have a lovely time ![]()
Here is the cabin we are staying in. It’s been quite adventurous this time. High winds have meant lots of sweet gum seedpods crashing on to the metal roof overnight!
That’s incredibly charming and cozy!
I see that grill on the side by the picnic table, too. Great place.
I would think those sweet gum pods sounded like rocks crashing into that tin roof.
We had so many sweet gum trees in Texas - those pods are not without some heft!
Keep enjoying this wonderful place! ![]()
Foraging opportunity!
If you need to get rid of something negative in life, the sweet gum pods would make great protection ammunition: throw them at negativity. It will leave you alone! ![]()
Beautiful! Thank you!
Gorgeous shots! You both look so relaxed and at home there
And what nice neighbors!

So peaceful looking! Just lovely! And I like your deer neighbor.
