Protection for a Loved One Spell

Feel free to add/remove/substitute according to your needs.

Items required:
Container - pouch, jar, bottle, box, ziplock bag, etc.
Item to seal container - string, twine, wax, etc.
Pen & Paper
Candles - I use 3 LED candles, use as many as you like!
Object representing your loved one - make sure it fits into the container
Rice - for luck, joy and abundance
Salt - to absorb negativity
Black Pepper - to ward off evil
Sage, Mugwort & Rosemary - a pinch of each for protection
Black Obsidian, Black Tourmaline & Smoky Quartz - for protection
Rose Quartz - for love
Clear Quartz or Selenite - for purification and cleansing

  1. Ensure you have cleansed all items - via sound, smoke, etc.
  2. Turn on meditation music and candles.
  3. Take a moment to ground yourself, then invite and welcome your Deities into the space.
  4. Recite these words:
    ā€œHeavenly Parents who reign from above,
    I humbly ask for you to protect my love.
    With these items I pray to Thee,
    From all evils, may they be free.ā€
  5. Take each item, state its name and purpose, and place it into the container. For example, ā€˜This is rice for luck, joy and abundanceā€™. Ensure the personal item is in the middle, so that your love is also protected physically.
  6. Write your intention on the piece of paper - keep it simple and specific. For example, ā€˜I pray for divine protection for [first and last name]ā€™.
  7. Write your first name in the top 2 corners, their first name in the bottom 2 corners (who itā€™s from and where itā€™s going), fold it in half, seal it with a kiss, and place it into the container.
  8. Hold the container and gaze into the flames, infusing the pouch with your intentions and love.
  9. As you seal the container, say a blessing, such as:
    ā€œ[First and last name], May the Universe protect you.
    ā€œ[First and last name], May the Blessed Spirits guide you.
    ā€œ[First and last name], may the God and Goddess shine on you. With harm to none, so mote it be.ā€ Then place the pouch somewhere safe where youā€™ll remember it from time to time, so that you can resend your intentions and reinforce the spell.
  10. Thank the Deities for listening and continuing to bless you, then end in your own way.

PS This seems to be working great for my loved one, but if anyone has any ideas to upgrade the spell, please please let me know! I really want to learn how people do things and why x
