New here , I recently decided to reconnect with my family roots and get more familiar with my ability as a witch. Thank you for having me.
Merry meet @eva5,
I’m Bry, one of the moderators here in the forum and an Eclectic Witch. Just jumping in to wish you a very warm welcome!
That’s awesome- good for you! I don’t currently work too much with my ancestry, but I know there are plenty of folks around here who draw a lot of inspiration and power from their heritage. Ancestor work is a pretty popular area of the Craft and opens a lot of possibilities!
I’m wishing you all the best as you reconnect and expand your magickal abilities- please know that if you are ever searching for information, want advice, or have questions, the coven is here for you! Feel free to reach out in the #questions category and the coven is sure to offer their thoughts and assistance
Looking forward to talking with you more soon! Blessed be
Hi @eva5! I’m Amethyst from Southern West Virginia. Welcome to the forum!
It’s great that you’re here to learn. Have you checked out the Courses yet? There isn’t much on ancestor work there but it’s still great information you should have.
If you have any questions, ask, and someone will help you. I look forward to getting to know you better!

Welcome to the forum @eva5
My name is Megan and I’m one of the moderators here on Spells8 it’s nice to meet you!
I wish you all the luck connecting with your family roots. I’ve done a bit of research into my family history and family tree – we have it dated very, very far back! – and it’s interesting to see where I’ve come from and how my family ended up here. I’m sure I have magical people in my family line, though when you get that far back, a lot of normal people practiced some form of folk magic.
I wish you luck in your journey and I look forward to seeing you around!
Hello and welcome home
