Both of mine are curled up next to me on the couch. It’s cooler today & windy. So they are staying close as much as they can. I don’t blame them, I like warm & cozy on these days too
Two of the three kitties boys in this house. Kermit smart as a whip solving food puzzles, doing clicker training and learning to just talking buttons. Not a lap cat and will only be held for a short time but he adore belly rubs and talking about everything that pops into his orange brain. Newt is my shadow and companion. Very talkative and is always making little noises. Lap cat, shoulder cat, upside down belly rubs boy. Loves playing with the water from the bathtub faucet, progressing with clicker training and just learned how and more importantly why he should press the talking buttons. rarely a night goes by without him sleeping on or near me. He’s been an incredible trooper with eye issues, requiring daily medications and surgery, then not giving up when he had inflammation, weakness and damage to almost all the muscles in legs, back and jaw. He’s had a tough twelve months since he came home.
Driving to the airport to drop daughter off. Abbi was totally worried since I hadn’t sat in the back with her - ever. Daughter and SO were in the front but she felt something bad was happening. This was her pose all the way to the airport. On the way back, she relaxed and slept.
Esmeralda taking a sip from the chalice (the water is changed daily and of course safe to drink) my daughter said: “Maybe she thinks, she´s a goddess and the altar is for her.”
I´m sure, cats never even doubt their divine nature.
That last pic of Cody shows how much of a puppy Cody really is: not even the shutter is fast enough to catch him. Just imagine someone who has never seen a dog checking out that last photo, though! It could be construed as Halloween!
Yeah he turned two in October so he’s still young. My wild child. Adopted him when I worked at an animal shelter. It was meant to be. I started working there October 17th and a few months later, he came in just shy of 3 months old and starving. His estimated birthday is also October 17th. I still have his intake picture. He was so tiny.

For a very long time after my dog de bordeau Gracie May passed away, I could feel her presence with me all the time, especially in the car. You could feel her leaning over your shoulder. She was a big girl 60 kilos. She died when she was 7, a very horrible death from a severe aggressive cancer. It was very sad for us.
That is so sad. It is such a shame to see them suffer to much. Since posting the photo above, I have also lost Vera. Both of them to cancer 4 months apart. It was devastating but putting them to sleep was the last act of love i could give them. I am still heartbroken. I keep them both close…
