Here is something a little different for you lovelies! I shot these pictures using infrared film, at a beautiful state park in Canada. The weather was changing very quickly and there was a big thunderhead moving in. Infrared film makes normal blue skies look black, and clouds look super white. Everything else just comes out, well, maybe a little surreal.
I caught these people walking their dog before the storm hit! Infrared records the lightwave frequency differently than regular film, so this shot shows a sunbeam coming through the air and hitting that log in the bottom right.
How beautiful! You are so lucky to live in such a lovely area.. Somewhere like that is where my heart and soul yearn to be, but sadly I live in suburbia.
Thank you I adore when the lake is still enough to reflect the clouds or sky perfectly.
Thank you for the kind compliment
Actually, I do too! Our city has 5 interlocking man-made lakes for recreation and city drinking water. We live with a view of one out back. 1/4 mile away is a busy bypass loop. I am lucky and grateful to have the woods within easy walking distance as well as a shopping center and gas station one mile away.
The moon shot was luck. My phone is terrible at taking night photos let alone trying to get the moon but this was one of the best ones I’ve taken!
