Skies: Beautiful Blue, Perfect Pink, Nostalgic Night, & Everything in Between (Part 2)

We went fishing last night – well, the guys (my partner and our friend) were fishing… I was not – anyway! It was dusk, and along the river, the skies are just absolutely amazing. I caught this shot with my partner along the shore.

I also caught this picture from the day before – the guys also fishing – with a beautiful blue sky along a different body of water.

Gorgeous photos! I (obviously) have a fondness for lakes and it’s wonderful to see them in different climates - the second photo has such pretty evergreen trees along the shore!

Thank you! :pink_heart: The first picture is actually a river lol but the second one is definitely a lake! I love pictures of bodies of water with the sky like this. There’s just something so peaceful about them.

We’re standing on the edge of the earth. None of our concerns matter anymore. Release. Let them float away into the “vast expanse of a timeless place, where silence ruled the outer space.” - Carmen- Champion

Sorry. Had to. Good opening lyrics for a rough song.

I don’t have anyone to share these with! I thought maybe I could share them here! I feel so blessed that Zeus (my service dog) and I get to see this lovely Sunset every single night from our balcony! I look around ane I’m always the only person on my balcony taking pictures! Must be a Witch :mage::hugs: thing! :sun::sparkles::hamsa::collision::nazar_amulet::double_exclamation_mark:

So peaceful! I have a tree in the west, covering my view of the sunsets. That’s OK, though. Being out in the high desert, we don’t get many clouds. Most of the coloring I get is by watching the mountains to the east of the city. They reflect the color nicely- sometimes spectacularly.

I’ve noticed that people who have lived here longest tend to ignore the mountains. It’s sad because they are so beautiful and protective! I do my best to thank them for their hospitality every time I go out for groceries, supplies, or fun.

Thanks ladies!

I actually can’t see the whole thing lol. The mountains cover it. But the aftermath is just breathtaking as you can see from those pictures.

I’ve been a sunset person my whole life! I’ve always like watching them especially down at the Jersey Shore! My family and I used to go down to Cape May Point every year for a few weeks. I used to go see the sunset almost every night. No one wanted to go with me and I was always like how can they not want to see something so beautiful? Of course I always knew I was different, but I didn’t know why or how at the time. :hugs::mage::nazar_amulet::double_exclamation_mark:

Those are gorgeous pictures, @Selena-Paloma :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: Thanks for sharing them!

I think it is a witch thing, or at least a spiritual thing  we have a whole thread here (and the original one here!) full of sky pictures – I hope you don’t mind, but I rehomed yours here with the rest of them. Feel free to post any pictures you take of the sky here – that’s exactly what this thread is for! :pink_heart:
