When I very first started on this path, all the way back in November (lol!!) I purchased some spell bottle kits from a store on Etsy. One was for positivity, one for creativity.
But they got stuck in a drawer and I didn’t put them together. So yesterday, I did the one for positivity, and quickly realized I didn’t care for the little narrow necked bottle she had included. So I decided to do the Creativity one today, but using one of my bigger heart shaped bottles.
That meant I was going to need more ingredients that were included with the kit. I actually had more on hand, but also decided to look up correspondences for creativity and see what else I had that could be included.
And then I worked with MicroSoft’s Co-Pilot to create a ritual to help me put it all together.

Cleanse your area—physically and energetically—using incense, a singing bowl, or simply by opening a window and letting in fresh air. You may wish to light a candle (yellow or orange for creativity), play uplifting music, or meditate briefly on your creative intentions.

The Ritual: Assembling Your Creativity Spell Jar
Set Your Intention: Take a few moments to close your eyes and focus on your desire to cultivate creativity. Visualize yourself brimming with new ideas, effortlessly expressing yourself, and feeling inspired. Hold this image firmly in your mind.
Write Your Petition: On the slip of paper, write a clear and positive affirmation of your intention. For example: “My creativity flows easily and abundantly,” or “I am open to inspiration in all its forms.” Fold the paper and breathe your intention into it.
Layer the Ingredients: One by one, place each ingredient into the jar. As you do, speak aloud or contemplate the unique energy each brings:

Seal the Jar: Close the jar tightly. If you wish, drip wax over the lid or tie a ribbon around the neck, charging it with creative energy as you do.

Conclude the Ritual: Hold the jar in your hands and say a final affirmation or prayer, such as: “By the light of sun and flame of inspiration, may creativity flow through me.” Thank the spirits, the elements, or your own inner muse for their guidance.
Charging and Using Your Spell Jar
To amplify your spell jar’s energy, leave it in sunlight for a few hours, especially during the waxing moon (when creative energy is growing). You may also place it on your workspace, carry it with you, or hold it during brainstorming sessions. Whenever you feel creatively blocked, shake the jar gently and meditate on your intention.
Personalizing Your Practice
Wiccan magic is deeply personal and intuitive. Feel free to adapt the ritual to suit your needs. You might add a few drops of orange or jasmine essential oil, include a feather or a charm associated with your craft, or inscribe your jar with symbols or runes for creativity (such as Kenaz, the rune of fire and knowledge).
