Spell to Increase Your Sense of Self-Love and Self-Worth

I found this in a great book, The Witch’s Book of Spellcraft by Jason Mankey, Matt Cavalli, Amanda Lynn, and Ari Mankey. Wonderful book, especially for new witches! But I felt the need to post this one spell here. Maybe someone needs it. So here ya go! I hope it helps!

Spell to Increase Your Sense of Self-Love and Self-Worth

We all have moments of doubt when we feel unworthy of love. This spell counteracts those feelings and reminds us that even in our lowest moments, we have value. For this spell,l you will need:

Snowflake obsidian

A small shovel/spade

Rose quartz

Carnelian

A shower or bath

A tall mirror

Snowflake obsidian is a type of obsidian that is speckled with the white mineral cristobalite and looks a bit like snow. It helps remove self-doubt and clears feelings of unworthiness.

Carnelian is a stone of confidence and helps with moving forward. Rose quartz is a crystal that represents unconditional love both for ourselves and for others.

Begin by taking the snowflake obsidian in your dominant hand. As you hold it, think of all the negative self-talk, self-doubt, and lies that you routinely tell yourself. Also, dredge up the lies told about you by others, no matter how painful it might be. Send all that energy into the snowflake obsidian. This will take some time, so don’t rush the process.

Eventually, the stone will begin to feel heavy or “full.” When your stone reaches this point, bury it using a small shovel or spade. This will require you to leave your ritual space and take a walk to a park or perhaps a spot in your backyard. As you walk, feel the negative energy within the snowflake obsidian heavy in your hand.

Fill your mind with happy thoughts of burying that negativity. When you find a suitable place, bury your stone, knowing that the negative energy you’re ridding yourself of will be recycled and turned into something positive thanks to the power of the earth.

After burying your stone, take a few steadying breaths and return home. Once you’ve arrived back home, take a relaxing shower or bath. Wash away any negativity that might be clinging to you. Enjoy the water; feel good while the water washes over you.

When you are done with your shower or bath, take your rose quartz and carnelian in your dominant hand and stand nude in front of a tall mirror. (If you don’t have a full-length mirror, a handheld or even bathroom mirror will work.) Look your reflection in the eyes and speak positively! Say these words out loud:

I am worthy of love.

I am deserving of all the great gifts life has to offer.

I am successful.

Feel free to add anything else that you think is important. Place your rose quartz and carnelian in a place where you will see them every day, such as where you keep your jewelry or cologne.

For the next seven days, repeat the affirmations in front of your mirror while holding your stones. Your self-worth will grow daily while doing this spell. If you feel your magick start to wane after the initial seven days, repeat the mantra above while holding your stones and let their energy wash over you.
