Great job on the decluttering! Not an easy task to mentally want to do.

I spent all day yesterday filling holes & sanding down walls so I could paint. My office has been over due for an overhaul for years. I’ve just not mentally been into it.

Well… it’s done and now I am resting on the sofa as my aching body rests. I’ve still got to replace the base boards & molding as well as the flooring this summer.

Something has been calling me to go lavender so I did. It looks amazing.

Now to declutter the closet.:rofl:

Love the color! My craft/witch room is a similar color. It was a playroom 1st, then a formal dining room. That’s when I painted it lilac. I had my milk glass and china from Grandma in there. The china was white with a black rose in the center. It was a lovely color combination. Anyway, I got a little off topic there!

Keep up the good work :people_hugging::purple_heart:

Ok. I have not done the books yet. I was sick and I out of off. But to ensure that @Artemisia doesn’t chase me :wink: I cleaned the floors. My boys helped. We got on our hands and knees and scrubbed the floors and baseboards and the walls by the doors. Yay!

You’re safe for the next couple of days… too tired after my race to chase you for a bit  But yay for doing some deep cleaning! I bet it feels nice to have this done.

I took a make stuff detour (sewed 4 tarot deck bags, made 2 empath protection crystals bags, and put together items to make my next part leather bound book) but I do need to finish my first pass on the jewelry supplies and organize fabric to start listing it for sale.

Phew!… seriously- congrats on the race !

I love stuff detours! Creating is so fun and often bungles up accomplishing my cleaning/organizing tasks

Thanks, @celineelise !

Today I spent the day tackling my she shed and what a disaster it was. It took me a few hours to remove everything and get every organized. Filled the recycle bin and the trash bin up with items that were broken or needed to go.

Also tackled our deck as we’re restraining it next weekend. We had to do the prep this weekend.

I’m exhausted & recovering on the sofa. Next is to tackle my basement storage. Yikes!!

Oh wow! :hushed: Great work!!! I can imagine how exhausting that must have been! The shed looks very organized :star:

Ugh… don’t remind me about decks, apparently, I agreed to help the SO take out the rotted floor boards this spring and put in new ones ourselves :woman_facepalming:

I took today to recover. It was a lot of work but it’s done. We found a lot of rot in the deck posts thanks to mason bees. hubby picked up replacement planks and got them installed. We washed and pressure washed yesterday as well and will sand durning the week so we can paint it next weekend. So much work but saving a lot by not hiring a contractor.

Thank you! I have so much more stuff to get rid of. Amazing how it all piles up when you just toss it inside the shed and forget about it.

That I understand!!! We toyed around with getting the deck redone in composite material buuuuuuut after getting 3 quotes (in the 10k range…), we decided after fixing our roof and putting in a paver path on the side of the house last year that we’ll pull the bad boards out and replace them on our own. We’ll see how that goes

I finally washed my car and cleaned it out. :raised_hands: Cause it is sunny here! Next task for this week is getting rid of papers so I can get rid of plastic filing cabinet and then put metal one from office in my closet. Since I am down sizing to one closet and one office…

Well done guys. I’ve done nothing :person_facepalming:. Infact I’ve got more DVDs, lol. But I have done the garden, we finally had two, yes two dry days., got it done just in time as it rained last night. Hopefully my Fae will come home now, I think they emigrated to dryer climates

I don’t know why I forgot to take a photo but one of the things I was working on decluttering was my playing card collection.

I played Magic The Gathering for several years but after COVID and things being shut down I haven’t been playing as much.

This was the time for me to go through my entire collection, organize it, and take it to the local gaming store to sell it.

This has been one of the more anxiety-provoking tasks for me for some reason. Just talking about it makes me slightly embarrassed because I realize that playing Magic The Gathering is a slightly nerdy thing to do, but it was something that I enjoyed.

I am still keeping three decks. No, I’ll be honest four decks for myself but today finally was the day that I took it in to the store to get my collection appraised and sell it. So imagine a large chewy.com pet supplies cardboard box. Now imagine that completely full and heavy. This is what I took to the local gaming store. I hung around for a couple of hours and entertained myself looking through things but I went home without the box and with a check in my pocket. So yay me!!!

This is a huge deal for me. This is the first large amount of valuable/ collectible things that I needed to declutter and sell and it’s done!

(Cute cat Magic the Gathering card that I saw in the case while I was waiting.)
