The Pentagram of Venus

Not sure how accurate this is but I think it should be shared.

Thank you for sharing, John. It made for an interesting rabbit trail on orbital resonance. I dread sharing Wikipedia articles; when I do share them, I encourage people to check out the sources at the bottom. I haven’t had time to do that yet. Maybe someone here knows more about this topic?

Orbital resonance

I also found an article on ReligionFacts because this apparently played a role in The Da Vinci Code, a book/movie I’ve never read/watched.

Pentagrams, Pentacles and Venus in The Da Vinci Code

It is amazing what patterns we can find when we look for them.

I looked it up and found this article about it: The Pentagram of Venus.

Apparently these conjunctions repeat very near to a 13:8 ratio (Earth orbits eight times for every 13 orbits of Venus). And those two numbers are in the Fibonacci sequence. When you divide one by the other you get the golden ratio (0.618). While 8/13 is approximately 0.61538

Freat finding, John, thanks for sharing!

The second image reminds me of a spirograph from when I was younger that you could draw designs in circular patterns with different colors. I believe that’s what it was called.

Thank you for sharing @john4
