@MeganB i absolutely loved your entry a journey of change I felt like I was reading about myself. I wanna thank you Megan for being so vulnerable and opening your heart about whatās going on in your life and in your practice because it gives a lot of us so much hope and understanding about ourselves. I will go weeks even months sometimes without practicing and I too have asked myself what am I even doing but these are just regular human feelings and emotions practicing a little or not at all doesnāt make me any less of a witch a witch could go years without doing a spell sheās still a witch. Everyday weāre evolving and going through things and thatās completely normal. Thank you for sharing and thanks for being you.

I am also questioning what I believe in. Being retired, I could immerse myself fully into studying spirituality. After almost a year I feel like I am drifting aimlessly on a choppy sea of knowledge. I have decided to seek a calm harbor with one author I like and to really find out where I am. I donāt want to be a disciple. I will question everything I encounter. When I know where I am, then I will get out my compass, chart a new course, and set sail again, but right now I need to drop an anchor, and sit on the beach.

I made my first recycled wax candle today for altar that is home to āThe Morrigan.ā
As i added the ingredients to the jar during the wax pouring, I named the intention for each herb 
& essential oil. I also had cleansed the wax & charged it with intentions of protections & energy cleansing types of herbs then cleansed & charged it under the sun on my back porch.
Once it was set, I placed it on her altar whoch shares a small space for my passed on loved ones. Her candle now aits on her altar with the other items that have been placed there specifically for her.
Iām not sure if they came out in order, but those are some of the making of the candles by re-using the wax & jars. The jars were also cleaned. Brighid has a tall thinner jar white candle on her altar. Hers is for more healing, cleansing energy, peace, calm types of intentions.
For both of my deities when Iām checking in with them, a devotional, a ritual, or a spell; I also light a white chime candle for Brighid & my loved ones. I will light a,black chime candle & a red chime candle. They have their own dedicated cast iron candle holders.
Both altars and my space are being updated. I have made quite a bit of progress over the last week. My husband has helped immediately with carrying or getting things for me. I managed to make solar 
& storm 
water. I have both in amber bottles that my husband found while working, they are old drink bottles! The kind with the name, company, & date pressed into them. Another one is a decanter with a cork top. My neighbor is going to save a couple wine corks of different sizes for the older bottles with no real covers.
The Solar water is on Brighidās altar & the Storm water is on The Morriganās altar. They were dedicated to them when I made them. All of their items have been cleansed, dedicated, & updated.
So they each have their own sets of items. Both of them have a bit of snake shed from my cousin. They each will have a new image of them for their frames. Our relationships have evolved, so I feel that the images on my altars of them should be changed as well.
(Iāve had a complete back to basics revamp of all things to do with my life & incmuding my practice 
Iāve been donating things I either havenāt or no longer use within my practice too. Or reusing things that I am able to. It feels amazing & Iām so excited to see where it takes me.)

Challenge Entry, Holistic Magick: A Witchās Apothecary
This week has been a rough week for me. But i did make some fire cider to help support us during our first year of school for my kiddo. I made this recipe myself:
Blackberry
Lemon
Grapefruit
Thyme
Mint
Ginger
Clove
Rosehip
Apple cider vinegar
Honey
It will be 4 weeks before we can taste it, but i honestly cant wait! I think it will be super yummy! My kids like the fruitier fire cidersā¤ļøāš©¹

Challenge Entry #1
Wholesome Healer
When I need an extra boost to help my immune system. I like to use fresh lemon 
juice and fresh ginger š«. I will squeeze a half a lemon in 20 -40 oz of water and chop 3 to 4 slices of ginger and shake it up. This is for hot weather times.
Lemon is high in vitamin C. It helps with rehydration and is a natural electrolyte.
Ginger is good for blood sugar balancing, aids in digestion, antioxidant and help improve immunity.
When it is colder out I like to heat up the mixture and add honey 
and cayenne to help you sweat and a little bit of sweetness.
Cayenne helps with congestion and infections.
Honey (local) is better so that you are getting the benefits of the pollen that is local to help with allergies and immunity.

The art of substitutions
My friend recently told me that if i didnāt have a candle that was the correct color for the spell that i was doing then I could just whisper to the candle what new color it was and then to make sure to write down what comor it was changed to.
I believe that many things can be substituted in spells. Intent and belief that your spell will work is like 40 to 50 percent of what magic and Spellwork is. I try to remind myself, I have to ask for help from whomever I am working with. We can use what we have for supplies, but belief and asking for help from the dieties is important so that I am connecting with the unseen world.

Its not easy to do for me I have a agenda but I hope you can let go of the responsibility for a minute @georgia I feel you pain girl I feel the same way. Just started school again and there will be a paper thats due and four events that I must go to for outdoor recreation.

I feel the same exact way, I am changing major for the third time it is Park and Recreaction and I am a caregiver right know. I just need some courage to face my fears and take it like the bull Taurus I suppose
I know I spend alot of time yesterday doing my magikal life but for some reason it gives me streanth to keep going thats the magick for me! I am pushing through
I feel exactly what you feel Megan I do love Hecate but I wanted to try a different diety but I really hope that there will be another diety that I feel really pulled to like I felt for her. I dont think I am going to go to my other covin anymore its just to much for me. I want to want to do meditation and ritual and my friends ask me why havnt you come to ritual its just alot on my plate and your right some times theres just not enouph time in the day.
I really appreciate your authenticity, feels so pure Megan and feels like what is real? But yes energy is shifting and yes we are always evolving and not matter what we love you girl were your sisters we are here for you and it doesnāt make you less than just because you have feelings! Its okay to feel! You are probably feeling overwhelm your kid is starting school again and just remember how much support you have given us and how much we appreciate you!! Energy is shifting girl Im going to shift over to the roundthecauldron and support you like you have been supporting us!! Thank you you so much for your contribution and all that you do!! Challenge entry 1: House blessing
Merry meet my friends
I decided to bless my new apartment with Francisco home blessing prayer after I saged the house and wiped the doors down with peppermint to rid stagnant energy a few days prior. I placed an evil eye on my bedroom door and a selenite stick above my bedroom door mantel for protection.
When I did the prayer of Francisco I imagined a white light coming from the front door 
and spreading all over the apartment. I couldnāt have an altar by main entrance as I live with a housemate now and I prefer to work in private ( which is way over due btw, Iāve always struggled with balance of work, friendships and my spiritual path)
Challenge 2: I set up a money bowl for the first time I filled mine with salt which I food dyed green to represent money. I put mint leaves and basil to attract abundance and a cinnamon quil. I put some coins in some which are gold being Im using Australian currency. I then added some citrine crystals chips and another crystal too which I forgot what its called now oopsie 
. I lit a green candle 
and listened to some money affirmations. I still havenāt finished burning the candle so ill come back to it.
I would love to do a 3rd challenge but havenāt decided what yet.
I look forward to going back and reading your entries I read one of two but would like to read more I just need to better manage my time and remember to come back to this app I often forget my bad.
