Aw guys I have had a busy week, I had an impromptu trip up north to see some family just incase we go into another lockdown (itās not set in stone or anything but there are rumblings because of new variants) I was working longer hours to make up or it when I got back. But I promise I will find time tomorrow to read everyoneās entries 
I do always love everyoneās creativity 
mines is a short entry for this weekās challenge and it was inspired by this weekās Rune post. I have a small chant that I use sometimes, Iām sure it was mentioned in one of the courses but I might be wrong on that. Anyway it stuck with me and I use it when Iām scared or feeling anxious it goes as such āI turn my fear into powerā so I thought I would write it in Runic Script and use it to add to any spells for anxiety

I have somewhat entered this challenge feeling very happy indeed 
. Chants, Poetry, Rythm and Rhyme plays a very important part in my craft. While putting something together for my deity I have managed to come across some finding that I could share with you.

I was always drown to Apollo with not even realizing in the beginning that many of his attributes and skills are related to my talent. I have decided to make this simple chant as I honor my deity.
Apolloās Chant
Great Apollo so strong and bold
Guard me with your arrows of gold.
Great archer of music, poetry and rhymes
Master healer of ancient times.
Great Deity filled with talent and skills
I invoke you today with all my will
Great God of light whom I hold so dear
I chant these words for you to hear
At this present time and hour
Fill me with your strength and power
I received a new altar cloth and intend to use this not only as a altar prayer but to use also when I am in need of his presence when I meditate or even dealing with challenging situations. Happy for this challenge

This weekend I sought some guidance from my tarot cards (and got some brutal advice 
- looks like some upcoming plans will need to be redesigned).
As I was shuffling the deck in-between readings, I talked to the cards like I often do 
Iāve found that explaining a bit about the situation and what kind of guidance Iām hoping to get helps me to both focus and connect with the cards.
Eventually, I tried to direct my somewhat abstract chatter into more organized words. While talking helps a bit, I found that chanting while shuffling tarot cards hugely increases focus and helps to channel magick energy into the cards better than with just casual words.
My tarot chants are very much improv for the time being and I have yet to work out a rhyming scheme, but here are a few that I played around with this weekend:
~~ 1. Tarot Focus Chant ~~
To the deck of truth,
Cards of past, present, and future revealed.
In my hands you fall,
Dancing with fateās directions.
Slip through my fingers,
and pave the steps of the road ahead.
You can see what my eyes cannot,
Lighting the way through.
Hear my plea, hark my words.
I ask for the bright hand of guidance.
Assist me now. I askā¦
[Clearly state purpose of reading]
~~ 2. Tarot Chant for a Question ~~
On my mind and in my heart,
A question burns away.
I need to make a move and act-
But how? I cannot say.
I ask you now, oh tarot wise,
that your forces guide my hand,
to light the path and show the truth,
so I may take a stand.
I ask youā¦
[Clearly state question]
Fun little chants that Iāll be using (in various versions) while shuffling cards in the future- they really do help to focus and tie in with the cards

This past week was a rough one for me. I was struggling with my mental health and Iām a very dark place for a couple of days. Thankfully I am feeling much better. Iāve found that taking time for meditation during my ritual baths does wonders for centering me!
That being said, I decided not to stress over writing a chant this week (for some reason the idea of trying to do this nearly sent me into a panic), and instead put on my listening ears.
I explored the music @BryWisteria shared and chose this one for Hecate.
At first I was likeā¦ okay, what the hell is this? But then I decided to close my eyes and really focus on connecting with the Goddess, and itās very powerful. The choir chants her name over and over and OVER again. I really enjoyed it.
I have done several self love/healing meditation baths this week.
This one was just LOVELY (though my 2 year old got up from his nap toward the end and decided to come in so I had to scramble to move candles from his little explorer self)!
But anyway! During this bath I did a Root Chakra meditation which felt very healing. I found this beautiful chant/affirmation in Spells8ās Renewal Bath Spell, and after it really shifted my headspace, I am clinging to it!
I love myself deeply and fully.
From now on,
I accept myself
And cancel all negative thoughts.

I was inspired by Irisās statue and entry to investigate Hecate on Spells 8, where I found the Chant to Hecate. So much of what I read on Spells 8 about Hecate resonated with me. I didnāt have a statue so I drew a picture of her and I put offerings on the altar, along with my son (to inspire her). I printed the Chant from Spells 8 and wrote her epithets around he margins. After I created the altar and smudged it, I lit the candles and repeated Hecateās epithets three times and the Chant three times. I very much enjoyed this challenge and I learned a lot!
