You can do it!
Good point. They keep us on our toes so we donāt focus on one to the detriment of others or use up the one tool so it breaks down or doesnāt work anymore.
Challenge entry:
Iād say that the senses I tend to pick up are claircognizance for as far as reading people itās a feeling or sensing energy.
I have some others that I feel may come back in time which are clairaudience or scent. Phantom smells.
Also clairaudience is coming to me more recently. Iām pretty sure that hearing voices telepathically falls in this category.
Also some touch I believe as well too. I feel things touch me. Even When I meditate it always feels like something is touching me when I start to get deep. I want to scratch that itch so bad. I read donāt scratch it or you give into your bratty conscious mind. Gotta ignore it to get deep but I usually canāt ignore it. .

Iāve recently taken an interest in exploring The Sixth Sense further, as itās an area I havenāt deeply explored in my practice yet, despite finding it intriguing. Last weekās Group Ritual seemed to align with this interest, particularly as I engaged in a meditation aimed at opening my third eye. Iām particularly keen on delving into dream work moving forward. During my exploration of the Sixth Sense, hereās what Iāve discovered so far:
Exploring the Extraordinary: Unveiling the Mysteries of the Sixth Sense
The human experience is a tapestry of sensations, perceptions, and emotions. We often rely on our five primary sensesāsight, hearing, taste, smell, and touchāto navigate the world around us. Yet, beyond these well-known avenues of perception, there exists a realm of extraordinary senses that captivate our imaginationāthe enigmatic realm of the sixth sense.
The Quest for Understanding
The concept of the sixth sense has fascinated humanity for centuries, shrouded in mystique and intrigue. It transcends the tangible, offering a glimpse into the intangible and the unexplained. While the traditional five senses are widely acknowledged and understood, the sixth sense delves into the uncharted territory of extrasensory perception (ESP), intuition, and awareness beyond the physical realm.
Unraveling the Layers of Perception
Intuition: The Silent Guide
Intuition, often referred to as a gut feeling or instinct, is perhaps the most recognized aspect of the sixth sense. Itās that inexplicable sensation that guides us, sometimes against logic or reason, nudging us toward a decision or warning us of impending danger. Whether in everyday life or critical moments, intuition serves as an inner compass, steering us in directions our conscious mind might not comprehend.
Extrasensory Perception: Beyond the Ordinary
ESP encompasses a range of abilities that seem to defy conventional explanation. Telepathy, clairvoyance, precognition, and psychometry are among the phenomena attributed to the sixth sense. People claiming these abilities perceive information or events beyond the scope of the standard senses, often sparking debates between skeptics and believers.
Sensing Energy: Tuning into the Unseen
Some suggest that the sixth sense involves an awareness of energies that elude conventional detection. For instance, empaths claim an acute sensitivity to the emotions and energies of others, while practitioners of alternative medicine explore the notion of auras and energy fields surrounding living beings.
Nurturing the Sixth Sense
Can the sixth sense be honed or developed? While science grapples with validating these phenomena, individuals explore practices like meditation, mindfulness, and energy work to heighten their intuitive faculties. Cultivating an open mind, embracing mindfulness techniques, and fostering self-awareness are often cited as pathways toward tapping into this mysterious dimension of perception.
Navigating Skepticism and Belief
The exploration of the sixth sense inevitably invites skepticism. The absence of concrete scientific evidence challenges its legitimacy in the eyes of many. Yet, personal experiences and anecdotal evidence continue to fuel the belief in these extraordinary senses, prompting ongoing investigations and studies to unravel their mysteries.
Embracing the Unseen
While the sixth sense remains a tantalizing enigma, its presence in our lives cannot be denied. Whether through subtle intuitive nudges or inexplicable experiences, it adds layers of depth and wonder to our understanding of human perception and consciousness.
In a world brimming with undiscovered mysteries, the sixth sense beckons us to embrace the unknown, encouraging us to look beyond the tangible and explore the boundless realms of human potential and perception.
Conclusion
The sixth senseābe it intuition, extrasensory perception, or an awareness of energiesācontinues to captivate the human psyche, inviting us on an endless journey of exploration and contemplation. As we navigate the intricate tapestry of human perception, perhaps the true essence of the sixth sense lies not just in its elusive nature but in the profound sense of wonder and curiosity it instills within us.
In the pursuit of understanding the sixth sense, we may discover not only the mysteries of the unseen but also the limitless potential of the human mind and spirit.
What are your thoughts on the sixth sense? Have you experienced moments that transcend the conventional senses, nudging you toward a belief in something beyond? Share your thoughts; letās unravel this intriguing phenomenon together!

I would say I have intuition and I can sense energies as I often get feelings of good or bad things that are about to happen. I usually sit and meditate and have some dragons blood burning and light a candle and listen to music which is of a Celtic feel and I sometimes have visions of colours and itās usually from the colours I sense whither itās a good one or a bad feeling and to prepare myself. Just the other day I had a feeling my mother in law was about to pass as I got a sore head and felt nausea coming. Within hours sadly she passed. So I decided to light a candle and pray for her and asked Hecate to protect her. I managed to say everything I wanted to say before she left this world and have written a poem which will be placed beside her. She is no longer in pain and I feel she is now at peace. Here is my poem which came to me during meditation.
Here I stand beside you, alone not I
Your body in an eternal sleep
I shall not cry, nor shall I weep.
As we share the wonderful memories
We thank you for your guidance
We thank you for always being there
We love you and will always care.
Lost we may be, but here we stand
Loving you for giving us a helping hand.
Though the rain may fall
The sun may shine
I will not weep
I will not mourn
Close your eyes my friend
you are now free
No more pain
Only love and light, will remain
I feel now at peace as I know she is now no longer suffering. Sad it may be but she will never be forgotten. The feeling of relief has washed over me and I can now begin to heal. )0(
I am sorry for your loss @kirsty4 That was a beautiful poem, written in her honor. Thank you for sharing.

Hey there, Iām new to challenges (this is my first one) so Iām not quite sure if Iām doing this right; Iām honestly just winging it right now.
But for me, I have been working on my Clairaudience lately. So I tend to isolate myself in my room, light some incense, and just listen for whatever may come. Sometimes itās just ringing in my right ear, other times I swear I hear voices; but I canāt quite make out the words.
Iāve started journaling my thoughts and experiences and have found a āslightā pattern. For example: If I get a high pitched ringing in my right ear, I feel like I hear a conversation going on in the far distance on my left side.
If anyone has some knowledge in this realm, please feel free to reply and guide me or give tips/tricks.
Thank you!!
B
Donāt worry. You did it perfectly.
Thank you so much!
@kirsty4 that was beautiful
@B.Dane you did a great job as @starborn said, I will have to look into working on Clair-Audience, as itās something Iāve always just had, whether or not I realized it or paid attention. For me usually for any of them, I have to be in a routine the involves grounding & having a clear mind so to speak as well managing other things as well as my own protections from interference from others or situations or energy.
Normally, when Iām on the other side of dealing with things that have come upā¦ its a natural part of my day.
- I use intentional clearing breaths
- calming music
- meditations - including progressive muscle relaxation, guided, & music usually with something in at least 1 of my hands
- walking barefoot or working with my hands in the dirt/soil/sand (yard, beach, nature)
- sitting & taking in or noticing my surroundings outside with breathwork
Different things like those. There are others but at the moment, those are what immediately come to mind.
I did get to posting my entry finally & it took longer than intendedā¦ so if I repeat myself, my apologiesā¦ Iām a bit tired this evening If you make it through its entirety, thank you
I have a clear
Claircongnizance
I just know thereās a clear understanding and I canāt really tell you what it is because itās super personal but I am using my senses.
This is going to to be a interesting one

I just posted a sec ago the ringing I think itās my guides getting my attention!

This challenge is the one I read with most pleasure. Everyoneās entries fascinated me, so I googled and found more ways people tried to activate their 3rd eye chakra, or just the 6th sense.
I stumbled upon a Reddit post where a colleague witch describes a recipesā¦ And I have to share it with you.
" Mushroom Chocolate"
Ingredients and materials:
ā¢Dried magic mushrooms
ā¢Chocolate bar of your choice
ā¢Large pot
ā¢Raw cocoa
ā¢Glass/metal bowl
ā¢Mixing spoon
ā¢Coffee grinder or sharpen knife
ā¢Chocolate molds or a non-stick baking tray
ā¢Candy thermometer (optional).
I know, what exactly are those magic dried mushrooms, you wonder. And I know you thought about it right away - indeed, you are definitely right if you have THAT thought.
This is obviously a joke, a funny introduction to my post, and at the same time, maybe it will be useful for someone. This is the link to full recipe.
Now, to more serious things.
In my practice senses are crucial, and definitely not only the 5 basic ones. 6th sense plays a high role as well. I mostly use my vision to perceive reality, and 6th sense to feel the hidden of this world. But, for obvious reasons, smelling and touching in witchcraft are a must as well.
So, regarding senses my statement would be - all of them are equally important.
Besides small talk about senses, I would like to share a legit practice I have in my family for generations (of women) that I found out about recently.
The female members of my family are a lot into room plants. But due to us living in apartments, most of them are kept in the balcony, which is bad for plants in winter cold. So each autumn mom brings them inside, and in early spring - she gets them back outside. And for different species of plants - they get their dirt changed yearly or every couple of years.
My grandmother has an outside garden where she grows roses, and some food greens - like parsley, dill and green onion (obviously in their specific seasons). Her garden is small, and located behind our 5 floor flat, but she thinks this is enough for her hobby.
I recently discovered that love for plants as well, when, after moving in with my fiancee, my dad gifted me a house plant to bring freshness, fertility and growth into our home. And now I want my own garden. Tending to plans and being connected with nature, with all our senses is divine. Smelling the ground, the bloomed flowers, wet dirt, feeling the silky touch of petals, seeing how that plant grows, hearing the wind blowing itās leaves. You donāt even need 6th sense to be a part of this magical world.
For me, the connection with nature (as well as cooking) has become a ritual to spirituality.
So back to our family ritual, apparently we all sing or listen to music while tending the plants. I found out about this by mistake, and my relatives probably have not paid any attention to that. But, it is fascinating to know that there is so much magic in us , in all the simple thingsā¦
It fills my heart with joy
PS. I am a city girl, so moving permanently to countryside is not an option for my lifestyle, but maybe, some day, as a granny - I could consider this option.
I attempted to imitate the wonderful way @BryWisteria keeps conversations going and supports us all. I donāt think I did a very good job, but it was my first try, and sheās been at it for what, 6 years? Thank you for letting me try. I hope I didnāt traumatize anyone.

This isnāt his I wanted to approach this challenge but here we go
Having figured out my Clairs and having a basic understanding of what they are and what Iām my life can be attributed to them, I have decided to step up my meditations a bit with multi goal āWhat will be will beā approach.
Iāve been working on touch and hearing for other reasons. Iāve been working on hearing in a less mundane way than suggested.
Iāve been doing a sort of reverse meditations sort of a mix of ritual, an anxiety exercise and meditation. Safe space, prayer and starting with faint nature sounds playing from across the room, playing āWhat do you hear?ā and progressing to not using outside sounds.
I feel like Iāve done this before and that it will develop inner hearing.
Something similar with sight will be next. Something like a āClose your eyes - what is in the room?ā to start and then hopefully it will progress from there without promts as well
Well done on completing your first challenge. I enjoyed reading about your experiences. Challenges are very open so that you can complete them in a way that suits you. It could be writing about experiences,.research, crafting something, a spell, ritualā¦anything that resonates with you based on the theme.
I love doing them. You learn so much from reading everyones entries.

Since I was a kid I found out I that I am really intuitive, and whatever I say actually comes true. Maybe not right away but whenever the time is right.
Because of that I am trying to learn how to manifest things with I might say good results so far, and this lady from youtube actually helped me a lot. I donāt do all the meditations she has in her channel but I love listening to her about what manifestation actually is and where it should come from.

Also, this year I found out that I might have an inclination at tarot reading. Not really preddicting the future, but finding out the dark secrets of the others and giving advice (maybe this is because of my 12H Pluto in Scorpio? hah)
For this reason I am trying my best to bond with my tarot and oracle decks, cleaning them and getting a card of the day.
When I started I found these two guides that helped me
The last think I love to do is meditation and getting my energy back. Not reaally much to say here, but I love to use the sound of water or fire as it calms me a lot. Also, if possible I try to do it out outside.
The last time I tried to meditate outside was this Saturday
Bravo to all those who opened their minds, hearts, and senses this week! As a challenge that required thinking (and seeing, smelling, hearing, etc ) outside of the box, Iām really impressed with everyoneās creativity and the many ways this challenge was explored. Thank you to everyone who gave it a go!
A Props and Presents post will soon appear with shout-outs and prize details for everyone who submitted an entry. Please keep an eye on the main page of the forums.
