Lovely photo! A little FYI, you can still make moon water if itās cloudy, even if you donāt see it at all. I feel the moons energy and I donāt have have to be anywhere special. But by all means, if thatās what you want or believe, go for it. I used to believe that the moon had to hit whatever item to charge for exactly the amount of time needed.

Yes, @Franciscoā¦ Thank you! Yes itās the green witch tarot. The cards are lovely! Better than what I thought! And the book is wonderful! Very detailed with itās meanings. The illustrations are gorgeous! I think Iām gonna really like these cards! Started practicing with them last night and the meanings were on point according to where Iām atā¦Itās gonna be awhile before I learn them again. But I think I found a good match.

Exactly, I used to think so too! But, now I know it doesnāt matter! The moons energy is there regardless. Itās just nice to be able to see it. Itās been cloudy and raining on and off here where I live. So I doubt it will be visible tonight. But regardless, Iāll be doing the 
ritual @Francisco mentioned tonight. Tonight Iāll be alone. Last night I had family members over and could not do it. By the time they left I felt tired and just wasnāt feeling the energy. I just spent a good amount of time getting to know my new tarot setā¦ ( which Iām loving so far)

Merry Meet Everyone,
Last nightās Corn Moon was beautiful (didnāt get pics though), and I felt very accomplished with my ritual and meditation. I added a silver bracelet around the neck of my carafe of moon water and moved Seleneās honorings to a smaller table with a white cloth over it that sits right in front of my bedroom window so the moon beams could have a direct line of it.
The moon was directly in front of my home for quite some time last night it was Gorgeous!
Today I am doing a bit more reading up in my lessons, and then I am going to tidy up my altar, and rearrange some things. Then this evening, I am going to do this spell @Amethyst and use more of my spell candles, which possible silly question but my white spell candle never dripped a drop of wax last night is that common, or could it have been just that one candle?
I looked on the box too see if it a different kind of wax but it doesnāt give me any details.

Glad you liked that spell enough to use it. Itās quite beautiful. Some chime candles are dripless so they wonāt leave wax trails. Which is why Iām worried about my Corn Moon working tonight. My green candle wonāt seal anything Iām afraid.
Unless I poke at it or something to make the wax run down. The only candles they had at the store were red. ~pouts~ Oh well, Iāll make do somehow. Thatās part of the challenge I think.

I did get the chance to see it last night and will be just sitting and meditating outside in the moonlight. Itās such a wonderful feeling 
Iāve always been drawn to the moon, stars and the night sky or sky in general. Oh did you know that when you look up at the clouds and see pictures or shapes, that itās a form of scrying? I was so one sided when it came to my beliefs. And blowing a candle out on a birthday cake is magic. I loved birthdays and I always knew Iād love magic!

Please excuse my abundance of geekiness but while doing this spell, which is my first true candle spell, these flames are not moving at all! Itās electric in my room right now too! I feel a connection, or somethingā¦to what Iām not sure if itās the moon or the candles, or the spell itself but Wow! The flames are still, tall and strong.
I tried to upload the video so you could see they are not moving at all but Iām unable to. Also excuse the background stuff, I placed a portable table for this spell by my window so to line up with the moon.
Lol, I probably sound goofy right now I know, but this is so amazing!

Last Night was not as successful as I had hoped.
I cleansed my space outside under a 50+yo olive tree; as I was cleansing with my white sage and announcing that no one who meant to harm was welcome I recalled what someone said about cats being able to enter circles. My cat (well heās actually a stray who adopted me) wouldnāt enter the circle at all; owls began screeching horrendously loud; mediated and dedicated myself to the craft. After about 20 minutes of meditation and asking for guidance and protection while on this journey, nothing seemed to happen. To understand this- I have no specific deity but had hoped it was Freya, Nope not her, nor Athena or Selene. I was so disappointed. Then when I realized that my moon magick candle had gone out (without any help) I panicked and closed the circle. Jersey (the cat came back and began rubbing on me like crazy) owls were quiet and i resigned myself to a total wash. Even consulted FH for advice.
Patience he says, Its like that really hard math problem that canāt seem to be figured out. After work this evening, I redid the lessons. Got back to Lesson 6 about the dieties. Lo and behold, I clicked on Hathor As soon as I read her devotional i began weeping. WOW- I donāt know how to describe the feeling that overtook me.
Again, while not as magickal as everyone else, I wanted to share.

Iām sure it was successful!! My first circle was a mess! Panicked and thought I messed up! However, we are learning and asking the universe for help is what counts and each time u get better and better! Cool, your catās name is Jersey!! My dog is Jersey too and mostly call her Jā¦ How funny!!

@Durga Iām sorry youāre evening wasnāt what you intended it to be, but perhaps the magick that you thought was meant for the outside actually did work only inside. Sounds like you made a deep connection with Hathor, which is magick all in its own.

Some good news for you- as long as you have the desire to work your moon magick, it is possible no matter where you are, @ashlynn! You can be creative with whatever you have on hand and feel free to make adaptations to spells to suit whatever you have available. If you are without any tools, no worries! You can do a moon meditation with just a little peace and quiet 
.
There is also the wonderful Inner Temple inside you that you can use to create any tools or materials you need to practice while away from home. For future journeys, you might be interested in making a travel altar

I was able to do the Corn Moon ritual tonight. However, I could not find the different color candles for the make shift altar. Therefore, I went and used all white ones. I called the 4 quarters and cast a circle. Always a bit of drama because I needed notes to get it right! Someday Iāll do it without looking at my cheat-sheets LoLā¦
After youāre done and close the circle do you blow out the candles or let them die out on their own? Does it matter? Also I donāt think I aligned the correspondence with the elements right. My altar not very big! I hope it didnāt make a difference.
Anyhow, was great to do it and definitely felt the strong energy!! I think more so than last timeā¦I consecrated the apt with sage and salted the corners as well as a ritual shower before I began my moon-ritualā¦

Everyone has their own opinions about that. Itās up to you and your beliefs. Itās not the end of the world if you blow out a candle, however, traditionally itās not optimal to āblow outā your blessings. you can snuff it out, wet your finger and put it out that way, put the wick in the wax to moisten it til it goes out. Itās all up to you. Thatās for the spell candle. I have blown all of them out before and the spell work fine. It also depends on the spell youāre doing.
