šŸŖ† Weekly Witchy CHALLENGE - Taglocks & Tokens

Challenge Entry - Taglocks & Tokens

We’re heading into crazy time (aka the weekend) so I’ll post what I’ve done so far with the hope on finishing before the deadline next week.

I chose to do this for my challenge to help my little buddy, Turbo Kitty.

And in true fashion, I had the sudden urge to create my own Bast figurine for the altar and prayer. It’s a wee bit difficult to sculpt something on the sly to avoid being asked, what are you making? and why? so creation has taken longer than I expected. She still needs a top coat of glaze but here she is.

(yes, the back is rough and messy, I know  )

I attempted to make an ankh in one hand and a sistrum in the other. I chose to embed a piece of tigereye in the back and I’m not sure exactly why but I felt the need to add an Eye of Horis on the back as well

Ankh ☄

The symbol of eternal life in ancient Egypt, as well as the word for physical life, it represents eternity when positioned in the hand of a deity. The ankh was used in rituals, especially in those involving the royal cults, and it had special significance when used in various temple ceremonies.

Sistrum

The word sistrum comes from the Greek term for ā€œshaken,ā€ and indeed, this instrument was used to produce a rattling sound by shaking it back and forth. It was typically made of bronze or brass and featured a series of loops or crossbars that rattled against each other when shaken. The sound of the sistrum had the power to fend off evil spirits. This sound was thought to mimic the sound of papyrus reeds rustling in the breeze, and this made it particularly suitable for use in rites involving the Nile River.

When I have free time and energy I will do my prayer to Bast with my new figurine: :cat2: :eye_of_horus:

What you have suggested to her should definitely remove the taglock. They can be removed just as any other hex can be removed. I hope she gets free of it! :purple_heart::purple_heart::purple_heart:

Thank you so much for reading my post , and confirming that what I suggested will help. I appreciate your time, knowledge, kindness and input, :point_right:t3::point_left:t3: :face_holding_back_tears:, I was hoping that what I suggested would be helpful and was honestly using my intuition when trying to work out how to help.

To be frank , she caught me at a good time bc I had just sat down to feed the baby and was going through the spells8 spells for giggles (like when you scroll through the news) and had stumbled upon what I posted when she texted me.

Hope you had a good day, and that you’ll be able to enjoy the weekend.

I’m not sure if this actually fits here, but it’s all I have for this. If y’all don’t want to accept it, I understand and willingly relinquish the badge. This really isn’t my forte- though I did once put some hair in a mini friendship bottle for use as a bracelet charm. It didn’t work to build comeraderie, so I released it.

There was an old but simple divination spell which used a naturally released eyelash. Ask a yes or no question and blow the eyelash off your finger. If the answer is yes, it will fly away; if no, it will stick to your finger.

The idea behind it was that the eyes are like cameras: they see everything. It is only when processed by the brain that we get mistakes because of veils and filters in the mind which do not allow us to understand the whole.

Of course, it is really easy to always get a yes answer: roll the eyelash between finger and thumb to remove any dirt before asking the question.

I had made a pumpkin spell once (to keep them away from me) it was for an in-law who has a thing for stirring up trouble regardless how it comes back at them. I feel they get a thrill out of it as they have almost caused divorces, break-up and more, so although i tend to only do spells for myself, if i feel threatened (like literally have evidence they are out to get me or my family), i will not hesitate (well i slightly hesitate before) to do a spell in hope they stay away from me and my family and not cause problems. I guess i have to learn my lesson that not everyone can be trusted and is best not to let others in on your secrets when they could turn around and use it as blackmail, so that is on me. Perhaps i need to do a spell to open my third eye (and open my own two eyes) to reveal the truth.

This is exactly how i see it too. Although i pray for their soul and hope that they will be gifted with children (as they are struggling and are hoping to have a baby and although i do not think with their history of leaving their first child and husband for another man is a good idea, but hey not my business) so much so may it be twins so they become so busy they cannot possibly find the time to cause harm to others! S Like you said sometimes it is just in their nature and i feel this particular person enjoys the pain of others regardless of how many people’s lives they will destroy (in my case that would cause 6 people serious damage).

Since I noticed my Hekate coins and Trinity of Wealth spell jar were linked here, I assume these things are appropriate. So, today, I will share some of my Lilith and Belial stuff with you all. These are particularly relevant because they are part of my ongoing studies via the Temple of Ascending Flame.

For Lilith, I have too many things to fit into a photo reasonably. Still, here, I want to show a sigil plate, an offering bowl with a sigil on the bottom (covered by my things), a recently acquired Lilith necklace that I received as a gift, my Lilith jar, and some other small trinkets that you can see in the bowl. :black_heart:

These are among the tokens that connect my practice to Lilith. And when I meditate upon her energy, I light three red candles.

For Belial, I have two necklaces that I received around the same time and a sigil plate. The sigil necklace was a gift and the other necklace was something I bought for myself after feeling a nagging sense for weeks to get something like that for Belial. For some reason, my bismuth always ends up in his area, so perhaps he’s claimed that, too. Nevertheless, these are the tokens that connect my practice to Belial.

This is a friendly reminder for fellow bismuth owners: Handle bismuth as infrequently as you can and wash your hands afterwards every time. While not as toxic as lead, it’s still not the safest material to handle all the time.
