Love your Butler’s Pantry and the ideas for your new cabinet they all look amazing it might be hard to pick but I am sure you will find the one you are drawn to most.

I am with you I am totally organised both at home and work everything has a place, my family know where everything is if needed, declutter regularly, keeping things I love out on display, it helps me keep on top of cleaning so much quicker and keeping an on going shopping list so it saves me money avoiding duplication and then having to dispose as out of date. Looking forward to see your creation once complete :dotted_six_pointed_star::waning_crescent_moon:

This level of oranised is what I aspire to, but my adhd has other plans…

Thank you!

@Greenbriar I also have a writing bureau that I use as my official Altar. I keep my BOS there as well and a few Oracle and tarot decks.

One day I am also going to upcycle it as well. I also have a little stool suited for its height that I am covering in purple leather.

@katharina utilise your adhd to your advantage obviously depends on what type. My 37 year old son has adhd as well. He wasn’t diagnosed until an adult but as a kid I just thought he was hyperactive so kept him very busy with sport etc. He is now trying to get some sort of focus and routine in his life.

My altar wheww.. lol when I first began my craft, I had a small little bookcase that was super incognito and would just have my candles and crystals out when I was actually working, very quaint and broom closetee :joy:

Since then though my altar really has become I’d say the central piece/part of our home. It continues to grow as I grow, it absolutely is an extention of me, and certainly of my growth throughout my spiritual witchy journey. It’s definitely controlled chaos :cyclone:(surprisingly everything does actually have a place) and I continue to rearrange, add, take away, add seasonal things, and try to switch some things up sometimes. Other times I’ll think it’s a good idea to completely rearrange and then an entire weekend is gone and it looks ridiculously similar to how it did when I started :expressionless_face::face_with_peeking_eye:

I feel though since it is such a presence, I know that whenever I am there before it , I can immediately tap into and feel the vibrations, the energies, the guidance, it’s almost instantly which really helps with my workings and my overall practice.

@Hazel_Rae Hazel Rae all your altars are beautiful!

@julie8 It seems like all of my off time is spent trying to organize my witch room and it doesn’t help my ADD. It’s sensory overload for me and it’s not working. I have too much stuff!

I’m going to box up 50 percent of my stuff and label what I have in the boxes or I will forget whats in there and then go through it one box at a time and get rid of it.

@Ostara yes we certainly can accumulate too much. I have done the same thing myself. I spread my stuff through the whole house and to my front and back verandah’s. I also have loads of crystals and collect old stuff like carts, ploughs scales etc. My old iron collect sits on a shelf in my laundry.
I was only thinking this week what happens to my treasures when I die? I have 2 sons and my 2 granddaughters are still too young to appreciate my stuff. One dil would love it all but would not appreciate the value especially my crystal collection which is worth thousands. So I have decided to gradually start downsizing as well.
Good luck with your clean up :folded_hands:

I put up my pantry photos but not my kitchen ones. I have a few mini altar set ups in my kitchen.

This is my chopping block in the centre of the kitchen.

this is beside my stove

I have a huge 3m long stone bench in my kitchen and this is the centre piece of my home. I try to keep it clear of clutter and have a small centre piece in the middle and a display at the end. The display cabinets in the background are all full of crystals as well.

She stands at the end of my bench and provides protection to my kitchen and living rooms.

I am very proud of my home and my displays throughout.
Blessed Be

This is adorable. I have a little box something like this… Now you have my mind whirling for a travel alter for when I have to go to conferances. I’m going to have to start digging through what I already have that will fit in there!

@Water thank you. I think I would definitely cleanse the room which you will be staying in and also yourself to release any unwanted energies. Anything I put on the forum please feel to use.

Blessings to you :dotted_six_pointed_star::new_moon::pink_heart:

I am blessed to be able to be open about my practice and my beliefs in my own home. It is just me and my daughter, and she is well aware that I’m a witch and what I believe in. :sparkling_heart:

This is my main altar. It sits on my mom’s vintage sewing machine that I am not allowed to ever get rid of or I will be haunted! It was a gift from her grandmother and is probably 60 or 70 years old. There are quite a few spirits attached to it, but they never give me any issue. I have all my very first tools, my crystals, my treasures from Idyllwild and various other places, figurines of my favorite animals on there. It pretty much sums up all aspects of who I am.

This is my working altar which I’ve shown a few times recently. This is where I do all my rituals, spells, readings, journaling, and arts & crafts. This morning I made myself a “Charlie Brown” Maypole for Beltane. Unfortunately, I’m not able to buy any supplies so I did what I could. I think it’s adorable in its simplicity lol!

This is my reading chair and my cabinet I’ve converted to a huge vision board lol!

And this is my ancestor altar that sits in my living room. I add decorations and offerings on it during Samhain. The urn contains some of the ashes of my mom and dad. The rest of their ashes were released into the ocean off the coast of Long Beach from a yacht that does ocean burials. It was such a beautiful ceremony, and I have certificates for both of them that have their coordinates. The wooden box contains my fur baby, Emma, who we miss so much. She was such a special dog. I also have pictures of other family and friends that have moved on and we love to celebrate them any chance we get. We light a candle for each loved one on their death anniversary in remembrance every year.

I love my altars and they bring me such joy and peace. I really want to make a travel altar now after seeing everyone’s creative little boxes!

@julie8 what a lovely big open space I am also open plan which I feel has a good flow throughout giving a sense of calm and peace. Looks like we both love Aromatherapy Diffusers & Oils. I have 3 myself. Your little altars dotted about are lovely. I do not have any altars out just crystals and spell jars. I just set up when I need, my travelling one also when needed,

@Eira_of_the_Living_Hearth thank your sharing your home and all of your precious altars I can sense how each one reflects your personality and how important they are to you they are your sanctuary and how your ancestors and beloved pets are beautiful remembered. I do not have children, sharing your beliefs with your daughter is wonderful as it will help her to be accepting of all kinds of people she will meet in the future and be a beautifully rounded person

Much love and many blessings :dotted_six_pointed_star::new_moon::pink_heart:
