Challenge Entry
I was inspired by the Creative writing for tarot posted in the OG post (and I’ve posted it below)
I write dark, slow burn romances under a pen name (started in 2020 and have self-published 5 books and 2 novellas 
) and thought this was perfect! Especially since I have been in such a huge writer’s block.
However I put my own twist on it.
I listed out my characters and pulled out all the Major Arcana cards from my deck. I shuffled the deck and went down the list, allowing my deck to throw the card out that matched the character (and let me tell you! Holy **** lmao they were spot on!). The I decided, why not use my other deck to get even deeper meaning. So I did. (Still learning the decks lol) And I included the opposite meanings (meaning, if it was pulled reversed, I also wrote the upright) for inspiration of character problems/development/etc.
Once I did that, I then followed the guide above adding my own question, “what do you want me to know”.
It helped me get through that blockage a little and I’m grateful!
Here’s a screenshot of the first character. I blocked out the name only because, like I said, I write under a pen name lol.
