šŸ™Œ WITCH CHALLENGE - Creative Magick

CHALLENGE ENTRY

Iā€™m so glad I was able to find the time to create an entry for this before it ended. Iā€™ve been so busy with work and everything that I havenā€™t been able to do much. But I had already started an idea before this challenge came up and I was wanting to make sure I finished it for this challenge. I decided that I needed to just take the time to focus on my Witchcraft and do the things that I need to to connect.

I know theyā€™re everywhere but I had wanted to have something to keep with me and Iā€™m not going to pay the enormous price that they want for these on Etsy. LOL Maybe I should start making some and getting the benefits that other people do. But I made a travel altar out of the many Altoid cans that I have in my house just holding random stuff.

I included a small spell bottle. Actually it was the first spell bottle I ever made years ago that I still have in my possession. I found the teeny tiny feather thatā€™s in there when I was just walking around my neighborhood one day. The owl is a representative of an owl that keeps popping up as Iā€™m walking to work and sometimes Iā€™ll be laying in bed and itā€™ll be outside the window hooting. So obviously heā€™s got some sort of message for me and I just keep paying attention. And of course the lunar cycles and any form of divination is of major importance to me. I stuck a bay leaf in there which I will probably end up writing a rune on. And then I figure Iā€™ve got a few of the miniature tarot cards and I usually pull a tarot card of the month so I will just put that specific card in there each month so I can carry it with me wherever I go and meditate on it if I ever need to. Thereā€™s a small vial of salt cuz you never know when you need that. Enough to make a circle if I have to. LOL Some cinnamon for abundance tigerā€™s eye, black tourmaline, and rose quartz are a few of my main crystal allies. So I included some chips. And I took a single incense stick and cut it down to fit so I can cleanse anywhere I need to. I always have a thousand tea lights hanging around but I thought the black one was great to have for one more protection element.

I had to go do a sleep study and taking this little travel altar with me came in handy. I was able to do a small little setup just before they came into hook me up to all of the electrodes to center and ground myself. The lady that was attaching all of the equipment came in just shortly after I had set and done a meditation and you could still smell the incense in the candle. I was afraid she was going to say something but she just kind of looked at me looked at my little stuff laying there and kept moving so that was cool.

I really loved seeing a bunch of your guysā€™s other imaginative crafts and that inspired me with a few more ideas fantastic job everyone

I have been pretty busy lately, but for Imbolc I made a pretty wreath for my front door. I bought the crescent moon shaped wreath, then used flowers from my wedding to decorate it. I used a few oils and cast a protection spell on it. I think it turned out lovely!

I did this on Tuesday in our circle like I said, but posting it took a few days

Itā€™s funny, how this thread about coconuts (of all things! :joy: :coconut: ) reminded me of my drawings!

The hard outer shell is the blue part, the ā€œfibrous huskā€ is the grey teeth that bite inwards, the flesh is red and is physical flesh, and the sparkly purple energy ball is my spirit and essence :sparkling_heart:

In the middle one the outer shell closes into a heart-shape (self-love) to let the light shine inwards and dissolve the sharp teeth, the fear and shame that have kept me from expanding outwards. My whole being is nourished, and in the final one at the bottom, the shell can finally open wide. It can still open and close as needed. The squishy red parts have formed lotus like petals, and the spirit energy ball sits right in the middle of it, open to the world :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :lotus:

The energy of the first one was so tense and claustrophobic, that I wanted, or more like needed to resolve it! Iā€™m pretty happy about the result. I canā€™t say that Iā€™m especially skilled as an artist, but itā€™s enough to get the energy out there. :sparkles:

I completed my new wand! My husband did hrlp with the carving then i finished it by painting it and adding black obsidian and hemitite beads to some black metal wire and wrapped it around the entire piece. I think the only addition i may make is adding a quartz sliver into the handle where it would fit perfectly! This wand will be perfect for creating protective circles!

I create mamy things for my craft. I already have what i call a grounding staff (though its not quite that long) that is more intricately carved and has a beautiful clear quartz in the top. Itā€™s pointed at the end so i can stake in the ground. It really is amazing for grounding and pulling energy!!
I am working on an actual staff at the moment with spiral carvings on it though Iā€™m not entirely sure what its exact purpose would be.

I love this challenge, i could enter it over and over. I have made my own divination tools, oracle deck, decorative spell jars to keep out in the open, beautiful money bowls and I create many of my boxes that i keep my herbs and other supplies in!!

CHALLENGE ENTRY

First of all, Iā€™m in awe of the creativity, you guys rock!

I thought about doing this when I first joined IR and saw this thread - combining something I love (snowglobes), with the Craft and crafting - and Iā€™ve finished my first one!

I call them Orbs, and Iā€™m thinking about selling themā€¦ what do yā€™all think? This is the Self-Love Orb, I created a spell with real ingredients and crystals for self-love and put them inside with a Rose Quartz rose. Of course, I had to add some glitter and luminous stones (a tribute to HP perhaps), so that I can still use it in the dark. I then blessed and consecrated it as a tool to be used in spells and rituals - if I ever run out of ingredients, theyā€™re all in the Orb.

My next one will be the Absorb Orb, to absorb and transform negative energiesā€¦ thereā€™ll be one for Protection, Spiritual, Healing, Chakra, and the Energiser Orb - the power bank for when Iā€™m drained. Iā€™m also thinking about doing an orb for a deity, and maybe Elemental orbs.

Anyway, I hope itā€™s okay to post this, Iā€™d love to know what you all think x

I have been having a bit of a creative slump, magically. So it felt good to do something creative.
My partner of almost 7 years and I broke up last Tuesday. It was amicable and loving, but it is still a bit painful. However, because I need to save some money and make the ransition easier, I am not moving out of our place until May.
I used my Keeprs of light oracle deck and picked Kwan Yin.

I decided to create a water spell to
Kwan Yin
I found this sigil for her. Drew it on a piece od paper and glued it onto an old spice jar.
I wrote out my affirmations about my new place and what it will look like, feel like and be like in the present tense. I glued this to the back of the bottle. I put herbs that are associated with her motherwort, Mugwort and rose buds and, then filled the bottle with purified water. One of Kwan Yinā€™s symbols is a vessle with the waters of compassion in it.
I chanted her mantra the who time. Om mane padme hum.
I will leave this onnmy altar and keep replenishing the water.

Thanks @crystal59, Iā€™m glad you think so! I like that theyā€™re small and portable, plus they donā€™t look like magickal items, they just look like snowglobes!

Thanks so much @georgia, Iā€™m glad you like them! Iā€™ll make another post when theyā€™re all done, I havenā€™t had the time because Princess is still unwell, but I plan to do them this week.

@celineelise what a beautiful card, and I love your water spell! Sending hugs and positive vibes, breakups are painful.
